Ever have old friend/acquaintance reach out after more than ten years of no communication? How was the experience? Did you keep in touch or just kept it moving?

Yep. Honestly, I either respond to be courteous but make it clear I don’t intend on staying in touch or I just ignore and block them.

My circle of close friends is small and I like to keep it that way. I’m not one of those types that likes to hold on to peoples’ energy if they’re not truly part of my waking life.

Depends on where they fall on my list.

I have a Cancer friend and she can call me whenever for whatever no matter the distance in between

Well, yes I would respond and I have done that with people from past.

Usually what happens is that you stay in touch a bit, or you work through something that was unresolved and then it fades away or perhaps you see what they're up to on FB but not reaching out.
