LDR and AGE = LOVE

Virgo’s co-worker who is 65 met woman online who lives in Ohio which is 9 hours drive from us. They had met 3 months ago.

He brought her over. Introduced her to his colleagues and his huge family with grandkids and all…I was skeptic BUT last night he proposed and she is moving over here by Christmas!!! For good! She is 60.

We getting together when she is here. I’ll find out their signs. Virgo said they are fit and gym rays and looking great and seemed in love 😍

I don’t know why I am so excited! 😂😂😂

They both are of Medicare age so if they have supplement insurance - it’s $ 130/mo and as I know he is a high earner so they will be fine…

I love when I hear about older couples finding love later in life ❤️❤️ Society likes to try to make us all feel like we are running out of time to find love. As long as we are alive, I think it’s a good time to find love. I’m happy for them. I hope it works out!

I kind of agree that we need to shake our booties and dating platonically for years isn’t a wise decision but percentage of people who get divorced after kids leave the house and remarried is high! So we are just as active but we don’t have whine. 👍

LDR is actually a huge issue, since it often requires selling your home, quitting your job, and uprooting yourself (and your children) from your local support network, to live in a different part of the country, continent, world.

But if they are just one step away from retiring and their children are independent adults, it could be less of a problem, indeed.

Lots of older couples meet & fall in love. Or in my stepmom’s case after my dad died when she was 70 she started dating a guy. She still is with him 9 years later. They are LDR. She refuses to get married again though, but he spends 3 days a week with her & then goes back home.
