If you found the person that you would wanna spend the rest of your life with and were only 17, would that be scary to you? And would you even wanna start a relationship with that person right away if you haven't really dated many other people? And if the other person has dated many other people?

* regret in your mid 30's that is - be afraid, be very afraid.

agreed! 99% chance that your relationship will not hold up. I found the guy I wanted to spend my life with when I was 17 ... THANK GOD I am not with him now. You change soooo much between 17 and 27. You will not be the same person. And be grateful for that!

Since you aren't 17, I assume you are talking about another person. Are you talking about a girlfriend, or family member, or, is the boy you're wanting to be with 17 and you are trying to convince him not to be scard?

Just curious why you are starting a thread that isn't about you .. or, is it?

love hurts... love feels great... love makes you feel crazy... love makes you feel secure... it makes you feel insecure... it makes you confused... it makes you feel defined... it makes you feel liberated... it makes you feel needy... it makes you feel strong... it makes you feel weak... damn it, who needs all that flowing through their mind at one time? and at seventeen to boot?

falling in love at 17? yeah no thanks...
love takes time, it takes experience...i don't know it seems kind of fishy, maybe because i've never been in love so i'm basing this off my own experience.
it's not all frilly and sweetness, it hits you hard and at that age you want to experience things and be independant, discover things, i just have this image of being tied down...

who knows though...
