this "relationship" forum has not had any new posts for 12 hours lol

anyone have any ideas how to keep possums out of outdoor cat beds other than to shoot the possums ? my cats refuse to sleep in their boxes and I'm worried they are getting too cold - once I wash and dry and redo the beds then they will sleep on them but I can't do that every night - I have had to bring them in for the last few nights and, well it hasn't been fun since one shit on my floor and the other threw up several times cause they eat like pigs and then barf - the shit was my fault cause the door was closed to access the box

oh and the reason the possums are there is because I have a feral stray cat that I feed so I leave food out for him - my two eat in the am but the stray eats at night

it's a conundrum because I need to feed the stray but then the possum family comes in and eats the food and trashes all 3 of their outdoor beds

In all seriousness though nothing really deters them...you’re probably going to have them trapped and removed

There are humane trappers who will relocate them instead of killing them...or at least that’s what they advertise 😒
