So you're at the gym and you randomly bump into someone you once had sex with. You don't usually hang out but you move in the same circles so you know about eachother. Do you greet them with a hug for old times sake?

Going just "hey" makes me feel like a total dick! So what's the etiquette where you live?

Well it depends.

Did you treat them like a 1 night stand & totally ignore their texts/calls after the fact?! If so, um yeah, I can totally see how that'd be awkward lol

Or was it kinda like a wild sex fling that slowly but surely fizzed out & faded with time, with both of you eventually moving on?! If so, I def. don't see the problem in at least speaking.

If you've been inside of someone's body (or vice versa), then yeah, it's not gonna kill you to speak! I mean come on!

Now if things ended kinda rocky or on bad terms, then hey it's probably best to either call a truce right then and there or ignore them like you don't see them to prevent any more drama lol You know how girls can be. Once they get the D, they're hooked! Oh & there's nothing more pitiful than seeing a man's ego drop to the ground after he never got a call back after giving her the D!

Now being lovey-dovey & pretending like they're suddenly your favorite person in the world is doing way too much lol

I think we just treat each other like acquaintances. Less than friends but more than strangers lol. I would probably go over and do the hi-how-are-you routine but keep it casual and breezy.

The women who responded in here act like it's no biggie ... but, we all know that they're deluded.

The guy may be cool with running into her .... but, she would likely act like a fool and attempt to make the guy feel like he betrayed her by neglecting her unrealistic expectations of emotional security.

Be polite, that's all you can do.
It's up to you if you want to add a little extra warmth, like a hug or kiss on the cheek.
Depends on the situation. The extra warmth may be a bit misleading in her/his mind.

I would probably give him a hug and say hi. It's not that damn serious. It was just a fuck. I don't have beef with the guy. But it's hard because every guy that I've fucked in the past, when they see me, they ALWAYS try to come back for more. No sir! I'm done with that. Lol.

Omg. So you guys are really saying that you'd basically run and hide if you ran into someone that you fucked in the past? Is it really all that serious? Wow! I didn't think people thought like that. As long as he don't act all weird around me, then we're good. Lol.
