What do you do when your ex bf tells you that they still miss you till now (after over 5 years of almost no contact)?
You don't intend to get back and don't want to lead them on, but you miss them too
Do you keep it to yourself and ignore their message? Do you express anything?
Um, well if you believe sharing your feelings would lead to endless badgering in an effort to get you back and that isn't the goal, then just ignore. I mean you haven't had any contact in 5 years, the text could have got lost in cyberspace.
Geeze, who save someone's number for 5 years? You get deleted as soon as we said our "goodbyes".
Curious, not that you have to share...if you also miss him, why have you already made up your mind to not go back?

Experience would tell me that he is probably recently gone through a breakup and desperately reaching out to people from his past to comfort his ego. I personally would ignore it.

We've been in a relationship that lasted for a year n a half, figured we're not that much compatible, I don't think it would work now .. I've also never gone back to an ex

The only ex who still reaches out to me changes his phone number every few years because he knows I have him blocked. Then leaves some bs voicemails, sometimes sad and dopey other times threatening and angry. Either way, pathetic.
So I block that number.
