Why do I often feel like slapping my boyfriend’s face?

When I look at him, think of him, cuddle him…..I did it several times…..It’s puzzling and annoying to me, and who knows what is really doing to him and our relationship. I need your input to gain clarity.

He’s got a round face, so my hand doesn’t hurt. It clearly hurts him though…sometimes he grabs my hand and holds it firmly, looking at me in silence. Months ago he was telling me “yes, slap me, I deserve it!”. It was because 2.5 years ago, he broke our relationship after he got transferred at work, moved miles away and disappeared for one year. We’ve been in a LDR since last November.

I don’t think this is why I keep hitting him, though…. I don’t feel anger when I’m doing it, just arousal. I never did this to previous boyfriends or husband….which themselves would never hit a woman.....but he is the only ex I ever took back…!?

We have Moon-Mars DW (square and wide orb conjunction). I'm Aries Mars, Pisces moon. He's Gem Mars, Aries Moon. We also have nodal reversal, with my Saturn on his descending node and moon conjunction.

A karmic or astrological explanation, perhaps…?

I had a girl slap me too and it was annoying but it was a sign of arousal so I took it and would react romantically.

I get this feeling quite often too actually. I'm a naturally aggressive and playful person though and I also have Aries in my chart if that counts. For me it's that love/hate kind of feeling of wanting to slap/punch and fuck someone at the same time. Pain can equate to pleasure, in fact I believe they're very much intertwined as there is often a very thin line between them. It's a weird paradox. Reminds me of that show Californication lol….

You could just be discovering that you're a bit of a sexual sadist and he's the one who has made that side of you finally come out. I firmly believe that no matter how much we think we know ourselves, some people make parts of us come out that we never thought existed, could be due to synastry. It can be fun or it can be frightening, it all depends on how you handle it.
