Unfortunately work got in the way so it took me a little longer than I anticipated. I called her at the end of the week and she sounded irritated on the phone. I'm preeeeetty sure she wanted to hook up, so having not heard from me for seven days (instead of three or four) probably led her to believe I was stringing her along or blowing her off.
I've seen her since then and she seemed fine, so I assume she probably moved on with her life. It's no big deal, just unfortunate.

C'mon we HATE rejection! Rejection doesn't make sense to us. Why would anybody reject us, if not for having a bad taste, being EVIL and the DEVIL himself?

For me, it's a case by case basis. If I've fantasized over you for awhile, i take the rejection pretty hard and will try to change your mind.
