Do water signs drain you too?

I have a lot of fire in my chart (Sag and Leo) and even though I dont have much against water signs, I usually simply feel drained after having interacted with them for long periods of time, Im wondering if this is typical of fire dominant people. I dont have that with other signs.

I think people call water signs heavy presenced people becuase of the "emotionalness" they bring with them.

If someone isn't used to being around emotional people or emotionally motivated people then it makes sense 😄

Its more about them being downers than "emotionally motivated"

YES. I literally felt like I was drowning when I was stuck working with only a Scorp and Pisces. Not surprisingly they got on like 2 paranoid peas in a pod with Scorp doing most of the plotting. I can see how a Taurus would do well with a Scorp, he wouldn't notice or care and just keep plodding away and she would sllooooowly trust him after years of consistent behaviour! It took my Scorp mom 12 years to warm up to my Taurus ex.

I don't have a lot of water in my chart, and not one single Earth. However, Earth signs ground me like no others. Love all of em' 🙂

God yes especially Pisces. I trust a Scorpio especially male as far as I see them. I don't mind Cancers actually I get along with them pretty well. The y are the most unimpressive sign. Not overly boring and not overly annoying. Then again I'm not around them much either. Scorpios are fucking every where. Especially at work.

But Pisces are like the of opposite of me. Weak, no ego, my ego can be bipolar especially if I get a string of good luck. Not assertive. Not logical not saying what they think. The lack of assertiveness and evasiveness is a pet leave after while in a relationship especially.

Scorp and Pisces males have been ok in my experience. Although, 1 Scorp male friend had a freak out last month when he asked me to accompany him to his work Christmas party as his new gf lives out of town. He went back and forth and back and forth, it got exhausting. I regretted saying I would go as I felt bad for him. He's been depressed and going to these parties alone sucks. Anyway, in the end we didn't go..way too much drama for something so small imo.

Same for me, Pisces (especially the downstream kind) are #1 emotional vampires as far as Im concerned, luckily I get my energy back up pretty quickly afterwards. Sometimes I feel glad I only have one water planet in my chart. Fire+Earth charts FTW!

Glad I can make you feel cheerful! Since its a hard-to-achieve state of being for water signs 😛

Yes! Cancers are irrational. You always see a Virgo/cancer pair in relationships or friendships because Virgos are very rational, robotic, cold, and heartless, they help to drain the water emotions of cancer and bring them back to reality.

Dont think you should be pointing fingers at emotionless-ness here, you being a Cap moon and all. You guys are literally famous for being dead inside 😛

well, I cannot judge it. Never had to interact with them for long periods of time. (Or did I ignore them? IRDK)

@shaka, blame it on your Virgo placement who's a keeper. They come to it as bear to honey.

I guess a fire-only-person would put the "crazy at home" tag and leave in like five seconds.

Nature is fair and make us all mixed. So they can stay just a little bit longer.

yearh, four yaers. And I liked it that you are still here. In my big dxp break I did sniff sometimes here about.

So did you notice the honey seeking pattern in this thread? first the earth signs came in. then water signs. they go only there where honey is too. the earthies. 😉

No and I am very water dominant (all Scorp). I find them draining too when I interact with water signs for too long. Depending on the sign, I can only handle a few hours. I have the most difficulty with people that would prefer to whine then find a solution to a problem.

I have like very very little water placements and lots of fire and air, though I haven't found them emotionally draining or anything. Most of the water signs that I know of are pretty positive people
