It's not really feigned outrage on my part. It really is insane. To be so afraid to confront your own partner (who apparently is to be married to you) that instead you'd choose to make an 18 year old woman responsible for whether your relationship lives or dies... and as if that wasn't mad enough, contact some random dude who's supposedly her boyfriend on a different continent too.
