Yeah, it's got to be honest. My ex was unhappy about me being flakey, a spoilt rat (not even brat, a spoilt rat) and not taking him seriously. And refusing to listen when he told me how i was acting. Like blah blah blah how can you even say that without thinking there might be some truth to it. Or alot of truth to it. I've been a bit of an idiot 😢

for someone to apologise to you in a way that you felt was genuine? If that person had hurt you without realising what they were doing...
look me in the eye and say your sorry. then i'll watch you like a hawk to see if youll do it again.

Is this the sole reason you two are nolonger together now?
Yeah, kind of. He also said he has too much on at work and isn't happy with the amount of time we spend together. I don't know if we can bounce back from this or not...

yeah, this.
I'm a pretty good judge of character...I'll know if you're sincere or not by your tone and the look on your face.
I know it takes a lot to swallow your pride and admit fault...also, it takes some balls to come at me after you've fucked up!
I believe in second chances...and will let you back in slowly...but slowly is the key word.
We won't be bffls the next day...we basically start over, go back to the getting to know you/feeling you out stage.

I think for me it totally depends how bad you hurt me! If it was a lover then I'd be more inclined to let it slide if they apologized and genuinely meant it (I'd be able to tell if it wasn't a sincere apology). They'd have to make it up to me aswell!
If it was a friend and they had fucked up bad then it would probably leave a sour taste in my mouth even after a genuine apology. I'd continue to watch their movements and slowly dislike them more and more without bringing anything else to their attention.
Thanx for your responses. Saying sorry means you won't do the same again...might have to let sleeping dogs lie with this one
