Everyone and their mother's dog's pet cat's mouse knows that wood burns, wood warps, shrinks and swells, wood also rots
and decays. Termites love wood.

For any given solid piece of wood beam, a steel beam of equal size will be much stronger.
also, steel requires farrr greater heat to "burn", than wood and..... it's a much more affordable material
when it comes to engineering projects that require tremendous amounts of load bearing strength.

That being said, wood does have it's place but modern progressives and engineers are overestimating
it's potential applications and are over-reaching when they say it's altogether better than steel.

Wood Laminate technology has indeed come a long way, but it's not that good.

This is what happens when youth spits in the eyes of their forebears: stupidity and self-destruction.
There are people who believe that they can save the planet. That is called arrogance. Little do they know
that the earth does NOT need them. Nor does it remotely give a damn whether they care about it or not.

In the greater scheme of things, where the real problem lies, is NOT in manufacturing but the lack
of manufacturing truly durable goods, and teaching people to appreciate and take care of what they
have. I cannot tell you how tragic it is to see plastic replace good old steel and iron in the production
of cars and trucks that were formerly produced using metal, whether it was steel, aluminum, or stainless.
True steel does require periodic maintenance and refinishing, but plastic simply dries out due to the sun's
UV radiation.

Carbon Fiber has it's place, but it's not foolproof either and it's very expensive.

To be honest, I think choice of materials should be far more carefully scrutinized and chosen for the
application. When the product is made out of the right materials, it can last a long lonnnng time and need
not be replaced due to premature failure. Doing so, you leave a smaller carbon footprint on your precious environment.

How to control their minds?
Give them what they want!

Teach them not to think.
Convince them that nothing is wrong.
Don't teach them right from wrong.
IF they don't know right from wrong, they can do no wrong.
And no matter how wrong they are, they will be convinced
that they are right.

Example: People want something for nothing. Consider the "free stuff" ideology
that the present Bernie Sanders peddles to his supporters.

Ask yourself "Do I work for free?"
If you say no, then, how can you expect others to work for you, for free?
Are you genuinely retarded? You might be, if you want to argue with me.

Bernie demands raising the Federal minimum wage standard to $ 15.00 per hour.
That minimum wage pay-raise sounds great if you make $ 7.25 per hour (2016) flipping hamburgers at McDonalds.

You do realize that the Big Mac you just made, is going to cost you twice as much as well as the cost of everything else
goes up and you find that you STILL cannot afford to live on your newly acquired "by Federal law" minimum wage hike.
Why is that? Because your grocery store, walmart, etc, and landlord knows you make more money, and so he/she/they
decide it's time to jack their prices up. Ahhh... isn't that sweet?

But here's the kicker, all you intelligent liberal/socialist Millenials who are supporting Sanders or Hillary need to know:
When you support the minimum wage increase, you are also supporting higher taxes. Higher income taxes, higher sales taxes
and higher, higher, higher. The State and Feds would love nothing more than to take more of your hard earned dollars flipping those
burgers. You DO realize that you are flipping burgers because you haven't applied yourself to educate and train for higher paying jobs
that require a more intelligent mind, don't you? It should be understood that minimum wage jobs are NOT to be considered a career
and, truth be told, a job at Micky D's is not one you tell your friends about. Yes, that's right, it's like a gay hillbilly shagging a sheep because
he can't help himself. Some hillbillies are proud of themselves, some are quite ashamed of themselves and would never tell.
Either way, whether a gay hillbilly sheep-shagger or career monkey meat flipper, they are quite retarded to think that's perfectly
normal and natural to demand respect for what they do.

Again, raising the minimum wage will only put more money in the state and federal government's pockets.
What were you thinkin?

To be perfectly honest, for a nation that claims "freedoms", the US has become a prison of utter stupidity, greed,
immorality and corruption.

US of America, you're not going to last, if you keep it up. It might already be too late.
