Thunderstorm here...

Something I love, but also hate about thunderstorms. They're scary, but exciting.

Idk about you guys, but some of these scare me :/

I've seen tornadoes and hurricanes too. I just love 'em.
I am quite relaxed. Almost puts me to sleep.

Thunder can be like a mother's lullaby.

Or like unto a sweet evening at the symphony.

Then my family comes to mind - sounds great in full surround and boomin' sub-bass.

Call me weird, but I've always enjoyed the scent of rain/thunderstorms. Depending on location, they can smell clean like a breeze in the air, or musky like the desert 🙂

If your storms are freaking lightning maelstroms, then yeah I'd be wary too 😛
I think thunderstorms are beautiful, esp when the sky turns green.

Doesn't a green sky usually mean a tornadoes going to hit?

Sometimes. Warning signs will be accompanied with Hail, fast moving jaggy bottomed greenish black clouds,
then sudden calms... the calm following intensely strong wind can be kinda spooky.
hee heee... that's when your knockin' on heaven's door.

I remember one time on the road my co-driver and I switched-shift and I rode in the pass seat, the rain and hail
came down pretty hard and we had slowed to about 20mph then 10mph as we came up behind a few other rigs ahead of us.
We ended up stopping for about 5 minutes and while sitting there on the interstate, the wind died down to a dead calm. About 1/16th of a mile ahead of us an RV had been blown over blocking the fast lane and the truck drivers at the
front were assisting the passengers. A tornado had blown across the road about the time we stopped.

they are know taking out trains too.

😢 That's pretty scary

Here a rig gets into it with a twister..

It's the debris that is deadly. Always best to go down to the cellar lie prone in a ditch if possible. beware of hiding under a bridge.
