U guys don't do this well do you?

Scorpbaby said he was moving party to refresh his life - only he wanted me part of it. After talking to him last week, it really seemed that he's carrying past baggage with him, and not doing much to break that.

I asked him, "What exactly are you refreshing?"

No answer.

"You can't even answer me, can you"

"I thot u were being sarcastic"

"No, I was being real. Now I know how you think."

.........................truth hurts doesn't it. Well FACE it, and move on.

Jeeeeeeeeez scorps deal with things way different than my species. Oh well, it's not against me, just himself, just want happiness for the world!!! 🙂

(Refresh his life) seems to be the operative word here.

Sounds like he knows that he is about to start something new (you and him living together) and he wants to get ready for it so he is having a last hooray and he wants you to be there to meet everyone.

I was just reading between the lines. We are not going to spell it out to you all the way.

Everyone carries a little baggage, me too. I try to figure out why I carry it, break it, and move on. I just with he would too. My scorp sis was VERY bad at carrying burdens, and only now at 33 she is letting go of some past pains.

I love my scorp, I can't wait to be with him, am I ready? When will I ever be? But I am ready to face that fact that life shouldn't be some comfortable zone that gets stale with no passion or work.

We all want the best for you taurusgoddess, but let me share with you why I see this as a HUGE red flag:

The main thing that jumps out at ME that he is going through with this IN ORDER TO "refresh". To me that sounds like you are about to be either a rebound girl OR someone whose love he consciously plans to feed off of to heal. It is dangerous to enter such a level of commitment with someone who has a specific use for going through with something. He needs to find out how to "refresh" on his own....then come to you with open arms, expecting nothing, and being with you because he wants to be with you. If you want to be with this man,then be with him...but personally I think you should hold out a bit longer before agreeing to a move in. Maybe have him keep his place and just be at yours all the time. If I were you I wouldn't put myself into a situation where both people did not have a place of their own to go to in case something happened. Not at this point. I just don't feel secure for you and your heart based on what I've read....

"am I ready? When will I ever be?"

You have more balls than me to do this if you're not sure if you're ready. Moving in with someone, to me, is a big deal and ranks up there with marriage and children (maybe in the top 5 of life changing events), so when I make a decision such as that, I want to make sure I am ready.

How long have you been dating him?

And his comment about "refreshing" doesn't sit well with me either. Isn't part of you moving to be with him and live with him a part of refreshing? I would hope so, but the way you say it makes me think he is using this last party as something he is doing before he gets tied down. I don't know...my opinion.

am confused - do you think maybe he was saying he was moving "partLy" to refresh his life, not having a moving party? if that is the case then maybe he just means that this move is like a fresh start to him, and that he wants you in it.

then the whole "i thought you were being sarcastic" comment seems to make sense.

you know, if men would just be straight out for cryin out loud, then we wouldn't feel the need to overanalyze things, lol

TG, what you're doing does take a lotta guts! but i admire you for it, coz at the very least you'll never have those what-if moments when you're old & gray, wondering what would have happened if you'd given it a chance. and if it works out then you could be walking on cloud 9 for the rest of your life.

I agree with you scopr5. TG, maybe he meant it in the nicest way and you took it to mean that you're just a little sparkle to lighten up his days. Well, he probably meant you're the sun back into his life, and from then on everything will seem new and fresh to him. Try not to take the things he says in a bad way, he love you and doesn't what to hurt you, trust that and good luck on your move. Take it easy on him and it'll be beautiful 🙂

Thanks scorp5pt0 & ninainthesky! I do overanalyze things too much, but I think it is natural to at this point in my life. I can't wait till we're driving across the country in a few days, I'll forget all my little worries.
