Why are you so unforgiving?

That is a misconception. We are, and I speak as a general whole, are very forgiving individuals with a lot of compassion, but the only thing we cannot stand is weakness. Which type of abuse would a Scorpio women consider worse-physical or psychological (think of constant belittling comments)?
How long would she deal with it under one of these conditions:
1. Single but dating exclusively, abuse is coming from s.o.
2. Single, abuse is coming from a parent
3. Single, abuse is coming from a sibling
4. Married, no children, abuse is from partner

Force of will is one thing. I am not doubting it and I've seen it with close friends, which gives me a good idea that it would come tenfold in a personal association.

But tsunami? Did anyone here claim a quarter of a million lives? No.

ok, question for the stinger ladies....

I'll give the background behind it so you know where the question is coming from.

My ex husband's sister in law is a scorpio. On the day I left him she called my phone literally screaming at me and cussing me out. I couldn't get a word in edgewise and was already half terrified and on edge with wondering/waiting for the nuclear bomb to hit from the ex without knowing exactly what he would do in retaliation for actually having the balls to leave him and the family compound. So, since she wouldn't stop screaming at me I hung up. I was hurt and PISSED that she would get mad at me when she should have been directing her anger at my ex and his parents. Then, about a month later and no more contact with her, she shows up with her husband at the first court ordered exchange of the kids to go from me to seeing their father. She and her aries husband were both video tapping me at the exchange, probably to try to get me riled up.

Since then we had a FB chat that sort of have us on a truce as far as we both explained why the phone screaming thing happened and came to a basic understanding, but not really any apologies. Another side note, I've never fully trusted her as she has jealousy issues with me and will let it out in a sneaky, snotty comments sort of way that I've always hated.

Ok, back on track....So, she recently showed up to one of the kid exchanges with her kids in tow, and gave small slurpys to my kids and also had one for me. I knew this was a peace offering but I politely declined the slurpy. I'm still pissed at her and my feeling on the peace offering is that it's a fucking insult to not apologize and make right for what she's done but try to offer a stupid little treat as a way to make it all better. My personal thought on it is if you aren't mature enough to get past being uncomfortable with facing someone and giving them a heartfelt apology then you don't mean it enough and don't want to mend the fence bad enough, and you're still on my shit list.

Now to the ACTUAL question: since the scorpio had her peace offering rebuffed, how is she going to take it, will she attempt more or will she grow a spine and actually try to fix her end of things, OR will she get butthurt and leave me alone?

not mad, not ignorant. i've seen quite a bit in my short lived life so far 🙂

I was thinking more along the waves in that japanese stamp..i forget the name. those were beautiful.

I don't dig grandiose at all tbh. In this sign or any other. It takes away from the human, flawed side of life and it's just silly on a larger scale. I've seen individual Scorpios display outstanding strength but to compare them to tsunamis was a bit much. + they were also god damn calculated, it wasn't out of control like a natural disaster.

Sure I play around and exaggerate shit a lot but at least I can laugh at myself, which is something most people can't do. I'm just a critical Virgo battling semantics at the end of the day lol.

Where do you like to hang out and catch up with friends?

I'm still pondering :-?

Anyway, given the limited amount of time I would prefer to do less stuff just for the sake of doing something and spend more time with my friend. It isn't about what we do, but whether or not the activity allows us to reconnect. My preference would be:

1) An intimate dinner at your home, movie marathon so we can talk through all of it 😄
2) Dinner or drinks at your favorite spot
3) An artistic/creative venue (museum, concert, spoken word performance, movie in the park, ect)
4) Hang out with your family (if I've already met them and you're on good terms with them)

That's more than enough for 2-3 days (for me). If I was interested in seeing your city, sightsee etc I'd plan a longer trip.

Phoenix she knows the city and both my family and hers are in different cities lol.

She wants to be somewhere outside, already thought of the movie marathon at home.

I've just been checking what festivals are in town, looking at a website with interesting events. I just hope she won't be too tired for it.

I think she'll be ok with wherever we go because we will have time to catch up with our lives since we cannot often do that since she lives in a different country now.

I'm just looking into different venues because we meet once in a blue moon and she's only coming to this city for me and another friend of hers. Ugh, I am probably over thinking it at this point...she's not that high maintenance or anything..I just want her to relax and have fun.

Damny, if you want her to relax and have fun and she's there to see YOU and the friend, not to site-see, then just plan some nice picnics and stuff where you can enjoy the outdoors AND spend time together. Stop over analyzing, you Virgo freak. 😉

Virgo, this is why details help. Half that stuff you already knew lady. You know your friend best, but I will add try to make the experience relaxing. It's about bonding, not doing a million things before she leave (mind you her specs may change that slightly).

You remind me of my sister a little bit (she's a fiery Virgo). I enjoy the time I spend with her, but she's like the energizer bunny---I want to tape her to a chair and eat pastry and sip tea very slowly, getting crumbs everywhere just to watch her squirm.

Wherever we go it "we gotta do this, we gotta do that....how can we not go do/see/try this?!" (okay, she doesn't use the word "gotta")...I tell her we should take a vacation. In my mind: hammock, fruity drink, lazily seeing whatever happens to intrigue us that day. Her: she creates an itinerary covering every 15-30 minutes from the moment we get off the plane *sigh*. Just dial it back to 5. She'll have fun just because she will be with her friends.

It's weird but I'm the one who's usually about being chill and everything. She's go go go go...maybe we both morphed into one another after all these years of friendship.

I just know she's on a crazy work schedule in switzerland and I'm over thinking it because I want her to relax a little and breathe.

I totally do what your sister does when I am on vacation though lol. The difference is in the past years, I stopped penciling in everything and let HUGE time gaps for me to wander on the streets, get in touch with the locals, have a beer with them etc. But before that, yeah I was a scheduling nightmare.
