Body Hair and Breakups.

alrighty so one of my friends just got dumped by her boyfriend because he said that she has too much body hair...now i'm not familiar with her body so i'm not exactly sure how much hair is there....but i doubt she's a gorilla or anything.
i don't know why this was such a big deal for him, but my question is... [well she was the one that wanted me to find out]

how many guys would break up with a girl over this? i don't know if it's just her boyfriend being a jerk or if all guys are like this

either way, body hair can be a turn off, even if it's groomed properly. a person can't help it if he or she is not attracted sexually due to circumstances such as body hair. it's as valid a reason as "i'm not attracted to you anymore" or if the person you're dating got fat. the point in a relationship, societally speaking, is to regulate procreation; if you're unable to have proper sex, or the sex is unsatisfactory, then that's grounds for a breakup--even divorces can use this as an excuse. sucks, sure, but you can't control what turns you on or off.

the bigger question is... does a girl want to be with a guy who's that shallow anyways?

I know this girl who is sooo hairy. She's a really pretty scorp chic but man does she have hair! I'm sure no guy has ever complained about it, but she's got pretty hairy arms. I don't like hair myself. I barely have any hair on my body and I still shave it off lol Well just my legs and arms... and my whole body once in a while hehehe My crabby has even less hair than me I think! You would think he shaves his arms or legs if you weren't close enough... but he doesn't... thankgod

My opinion is that he didn't like her all that much to start with. The hairy comment was just stooooopid. Hey, this makes her Christmas gift a whole lot easier. A nice little basket of razors, wax and creams to get rid of body hair 🙂

hahah okay wow this thread got long, the only reason i brought it up was because she had asked me to post it on here to see what people thought, i thought it was kind of weird but whatever, i don't know how hairy she is exactly because i've never seen her naked and don't want to, she does have hairy arms and a somewhat noticable moustache...but i mean that's ridiculous to break up with someone over that, it's not like she's able to control it, yeah she can shave it off or wax it, but i think if you really like a person you can get past that, millions of women have hair on their bodies...most people don't notice because they get it waxed or shaved or bleach it, imo it's just nature....so this guy was obviously a retard to begin with, but i can see how it can lower her self esteem and make her feel really self conscious.
