See, that is what I'm talking about. It is your perception that the critics - or at least I - hate Scorpios simply because I pointed out some of your flaws. This whole thread is a perfect example of subjective Scorpios not being able to see and deal with things for how they really are, and not how you percieve them!

Yes I'm sure Leos are all that, we all have negative traits. But see the thing is that that is not your personal observation, that is a copy-and-paste job which makes your generalization irrelevant in this context or any context. My observation however is personal. From 26 years of being around Scorpios.

That's the whole problem! If you're gonna enter this discussion you shuld read everything because we are going in circles every time someone else joins... I don't know how many times I had to repeat myself for the last couple of pages.

The only sign above all others is Libra. this is why they are represented by an inanimate object, therefore the only ones capable of true logic. Also I do feel the ancients made no mistake in symbolising them as scale of justice, truth and piss-taking.

what is objectivity ? does it mean what is practicable? dont the whole world know that scorps are socererors and they can envision other kind of realities much more than other signs so yes to them objectivity is a more complete picture rather than what pple see from their hard senses ie what is for breakfast today.
they just know more and i always find scorpios to be the most stable and reassuring pple around in times of crisis cos they just can deal with things instead of running away.

Conversely, there's a reason why the scorpions have bonded together so tightly on the defense. In my humble opinion I think these two signs are jealous of one another for the qualities they imagine they lack in themselves. As a Scorpio with a Leo ascendant I hope I am correct when I say: Leos have an exterior confidence which is probably enviable to many Scorps who cannot "shine" so easily--we weigh our words and actions carefully and hesitate (even when we want to shine) to stand in the spotlight, often simply because we recognize others (Leos especially) don't just want a spotlight, they NEED it. Scorpios have an inner confidence that no insult, slight or defeat can fully extinguish, in fact, it's in these moments where this hidden confidence starts to enlighten the shadowy Scorpio personality. I think Leos pick up on this mysterious confidence they do not possess, just as Scorpios sometimes crave the attention-demanding presence of the Leo. As a person with a lot of fixed sign friends (including a male Leo-female Scorpio 'couple' who are waging their own World War)I have noticed this mutual respect/admiration/hate between Scorpios and Leos. hey, i think i was annoyed... x said i was being passive aggressive. i didn't mean to be, i was just disappointed and annoyed that the plans were falling through, but didn't feel it was necessary to start a discussion over it so acted quiet and sullen instead. oops. it's no big deal. i should be more open i guess. i also think we should just not make plans if they're not going to happen--i know i'm guilty of it too.
do you know what x is up to on saturday? is she partying all weekend? i'm not sure what friday is looking like right now. i just honestly don't really want to hang out with a gazillion people i don't really know/connect with and be all hyper and dressed up to the nines only to get so wasted i feel like shit the entire next day. haha. i'm such a downer, but SERIOUSLY. i'll go out at some point of course, but do you have any idea where they're planning on going? i really hope it's not stupid expensive.
