I like to see how far the apple fall from the tree before I decide to reach up for it or or bend that low to pick it up.

I don't mind reaching for the golden apple, provided it doesn't jump to another limb before I can grab it! Also, as a Virg, I would have to know that my ladder is soundly constructed, and meets / exceeds OSHA standards for safety. Better yet, I'll build my own ladder -- it'll take a while, but surely the fruit won't rot before I get to it...

Dy, are you sure you don't get on your scrop wife nerves? After reading what you wrote I am like damn all of that? Just get a ladder and get the dame apple, shit if their was a apple waiting just for you it would have JUMP!!! from the tree for lack of patience and ran to a rotten apple only because it got tired of waiting for you to finish building your ladder and waiting for approval from OSHA 🙂
