I love that 'second period' - well now I'm in the menopause maybe I could cope... lol
When I originally posted that comment somewhere else there were a lot of cyber-nods. I think it's interesting how silent everyone is now. Either it happens a lot and people realise it's a strange pattern for romance, or else we've just struck REALLY unlucky. I don't think so though - I have notived the phrase '2-3 months in a LOT of posts on here. I wonder if it's something to do with a very slow biorhythm? Come to think of it, one of the Scorps I know even TOLD me things only ever lasted 2-3 months.
I suppose I'm intrigued by the people who insist it's worth it in the end - how do you ever know you've GOT to the end?
Guess we may never know! 😉
Haha - lots of masochists?? I dunno - it seems sometimes on here that all Scorpios are emotionally unavailable. But I doubt that's truer than for any other sign. And they ARE lovely... till they leave! 🙂
LOL I did something very simliar! I think mine was in the phone as: "Don't RING HIM FIRST!" for a while. But yes - it was still in there! lol
hahahahahahahahahhaaaaaa
scorpios tend to have an unconscious destructive streak when it comes to relationships. when things are going well, they will subconciously sabotage things to mix things up a little and add some texture to the relationship. life is never dull for sure but sometimes, if their partners are also emotionally volatile, it can spell disaster.
Well, my scorpio and i were dating about 6 months. I was only dating him but he was dating other females. I decided it was time for me to talk to him about the next step and if that was not what he wanted i was prepared to walk away forever. When we had the talk he asked me if we could be friends. I told him I have enough friends i don't need anymore. Within 2 days we were exclusive an item. We've been together 3 years and now he's my fiance.
As far as the drama it was not good in the beginning, I'm Aquarian which didn't help lol. He brought the drama and still does sometimes. Now If he brings the drama i really don't have to say too much,.if he's wrong he will apologize after he's given the situation thought.I've just learned/ing how to deal with him more effectively and get results. Gotta love the scorps.
"if their partners are also emotionally volatile, it can spell disaster"
Haha you are so right Roxanne been there done that.
Yep me too! It was long time before I realised that when he said he Needed Space he meant just that - I assumed we'd finished...
You live and learn, eh?? 😉
(And of course, he's still in touch but I suspect we're in the Friend Zone for life now!)

roxanne- yes I agree. this is also what cancers (at least the men) do but for different reasons.warholian- u don't agree or u just honestly think it's funny ?
I think this is all funny...especially the "second period" thing and the phone thing. It's all so true. I have so many personal stories and eyewitness accounts of scorpios and their penchant for drama. I'm still trying to figure out why the men are more into it than the women though. Social constructs would have it the other way around. I'm starting to like drama more and more everyday, but I prefer it come to me. I don't seek it out.

Do ANY scorp men manage a non-broken relationship of over 3 months??
Are there any on here who have gone from A ----> B (where A ---> B = > 3 months) WITHOUT some Drama-filled break in the middle?
I asked this on another thread and people seemed to agree it was a good question.
I'm also interested in that push-pull thing. I read these boards and it looks like quite the pattern. But how many times do people go through it? How long are the gaps? And how do you people ever know when it's an actual established relationship, rather than just the next phase before the next retreat?
Finally, who on here holds the record for "We were apart *this long* and now we're an item"?
🙂
