Feels like this Scorpio, I have a history with is trying to be my friend...or...?

Brief outline of the past:

I was dating this guy, whom I later found out she apparently had a thing for. (they are from the same neighbourhood in their countries) She would hangout with us and i thought they were just friends but he was seeing the both of us. YES they pulled the wool.

Anyway fast forward and we are now grown women, cool weed smokin troubled dude from the past has moved back to his own country years ago. I've meet the girl out a few times and she is actually pretty cool, funny, fun to be around etc. She has a little girl now from a father who disappeared back to the US.

The thing is she is VERY hot and cold, and throughout the years as i've bumped into her at social events-a couple of times with guys (as friends) she's just totally overlooked me. Even after us having hug out together one night, I offered her to stay at my place also. I dont know if there has been some sort of connection with any of the guys or what.

NOW after more than a year she is making a concentrated effort to try and be VERY friendly with me. Inviting me places, wanting to come over to mine, cook etc. And I think it may all be because of her "male bestfriend" whom has put in a good word about me.

Alll this time and all the caution over me, and it took a MAN to convince her that i'm actually alright. lol! Or is something else going on...I also know she likes American guys which is the crowd I am now largely in since I met my bf. Is it ulterior motives? Sup Scorp?

Maybe i'll find out tomorrow. I've invited her and her little girl to thanksgiving at bf's colleagues, since the one she had planned to go to was apparently cancelled.
