Turkey Day may not be all that compared to Christmas. But you got to get a little excited for the day off, family & freinds and of course the food...plus the left overs...;}
Shopping the day after Turkey Day will be a mad house. No thanks. A friend of mine works at Boston Store and she told me that she will only work from 4am to 9am - only because of the mass shoppers and the mess that's left over from the rush.
I have the turkey ready to go into the oven come the a.m. I got my pork shoulder(Pernil)all seasoned in the fridge ready. The rice & Gandules will be standing by. I can't wait till my alarm goes off tomorrow morning... :]
""I enjoy giving more than I do recieving. I usually end up feeling guilty, for some reason.""
Same here. I am constantly reminding ppl NOT to get me something just b/c I got them something. If I see something that I think fits you, I'll pick it up, no matter what time of year, b/c I want you to have it, not because I expect something in return. That's why they're called "gifts" and not "exchanges" lol.
if i were your brother, i'd tell my son, "oooh, look at what uncle blingy bought for you to play when you go and visit him! he's going to keep at his house for you so that it will be safe and tucked away from boogie monsters who want to steal it."
Yum Yum. It's that time of year again when the elastic waist pants may be a necessity. Who's cooking?
