he ask "what are we now'?

So I known him through online app and we have only been out for less than 3 dates and he ask me 'what are we now?' How am I suppose to answer? I dont want to take things up too fast & I suspect he has a gf but i asked him a few times he said he dont have. What do you think?

you suspect he has a girlfriend? Why don't you just ask him that first to clarify things?

If you don't feel comfortable, tell him that you feel like it's too soon to know and if you like him, tell him you would like more time to get to know him before deciding your status.

That question makes me anxious as well. It confuses me.
