If you decide to go with the lobster, just make sure he isn't allergic to shellfish first. I know that is probably a dumb suggestion because you I'm sure you would ask ahead of time, but just in case you forget. The guy I'm dating is allergic to shellfish, and it's a good thing he told me that in the beginning. Just a tip, 🙂

My suggestion is, Chicken breast with lemon juice and spices, rice, and a baked potato or mashed potatoes, and salad or a different veggie side. Easy and delicious, also smells really good through the house while you're cooking.

If you're not great in the kitchen, this is an easy one. Pan seared 2" ribeye steak, mashed potatoes and some vegetables.

Use butter amd olive oil to sear the steak (high heat, you need decent ventilation). Season with Kosher salt , a little garlic, and pepper before searing.

After searing (3-5 minutes each side), put the pan in a 500° oven for 8-10 minutes for mid-rare. Let sit for 5-10 minutes.

I'm assuming you know how to make mash, but I ise loades of butter and some heavy cream, and a bit of Kosher salt while mashing. You can add cheese, or garlic and bacon too.

I have an awesome and easy green bean/bacon/balsamic side that you could do.

The house will smell like a restaurant, and the steaks are better than some you have to pay big dollars for out.

So what's with the green bean balsamic side? Sounds good.

I usually get the steamable package of whole green beans and steam for 4.5-5 minutes in the microwave.

Make your bacon super crispy (I use 4 slices per package). When the bacon is done, put the geen beans in the pan of bacon fat (drain all but about 2-3 tbsp of fat) with 2 tbs of balsamic vinegar amd saute on medium heat until the balsamic has cooked off. Remove fom the heat and toss on the crumbled bacon. Easy and tastes very complicated.

Best question to ask a guy you are about to cook for is WHAT FOODS DO YOU NOT LIKE? Makes it so much easier. Also helps if there are no expectations when you do something nice for someone.

Really? :o I can be super scatterbrains and clumsy, and it drives my scorp nuts... But I know he would hate if it was the other way around. He probably secretly enjoys seeing how I would be completely lost without him so he can be the responsible protector and savior lol 😆

don't be nervous. you could throw some frozen pizzas in the oven and he would appreciate the sentiment. we aren't very high maintenance. it's usually the act of someone actually caring enough to *do* something that we take notice of and remember.

in my past relationships....it was the mundane 'real' things that I remember. things the other person probably thought were really ordinary....but because it was done 'for' me when they weren't really thinking too hard about it....those are the special moments 🙂

I'm making baked chicken breasts with seasonings, rice amd sautéed veggies. Not too hard, but he likes chicken breasts so I'm gonna make that.

I think I just got nervous because this is our first time spending time with eachother outside of work. I'll try to calm down, I think I just really want to make a good impression. I want him to wife me up some day. Lol.

I think he could be "the" guy.

I'm probably the most low-maintenance guy I know out of my friends. Any meal will do.

We are extremely high-maintenance when it comes to loyalty, however.

Definitely go light on the dinner. I love me a nice steak but if there are going to be special activities for the rest of the night then I would rather not be full. There is always breakfast in the morning if you are still hungry. I usually make breakfast in bed for the women I take to bed. Even if they don't want anything serious it always leave them with an impression. Good times, great sex, breakfast in bed and end then even greater sex.

Maybe a grilled flank steak salad with a light dressing I would avoid acidic dressing because you will be having wine later. For dessert well, you can be dessert. Good luck!

Thank you! Yes, I'm keeping dinner light and healthy. He's kind of a health nut, (not out of control though) just takes good care of himself, and it shows 🙂

we just revisited the fountain where he got down on one knee and proposed. my smart mouth just had to comment "it's in front the library. how romantic" lol. anyway romance is in the air. you will have a very nice evening 🙂

Just got a call from my scorpio man. He seemed a little weird on the phone like he was trying to gauge what my mood was...then he asked me if I had anything planned for us after dinner....

In my head I was like ya, by 9 I was hoping you'd be tonguing me down...

I didn't say that of course, but asked him why...did he have plans?... then he says with the week he didn't remember that it's the biggest ufc fight tonight and he really wants to watch it, and he had volunteered to order the fight at his house with some friends a while back. He didn't want this to ruin our evening though. He wants to drive me to his place after eating dinner, and he wants me to meet some of his friends.

He arrived as dinner was still cooking in the oven, so I gave him a brief tour of my place. He looked amd smelled so good. He said I looked gorgeous.

Things between us just flowed like they normally do. Great conversation, jokes, laughs, eyeing, light touching, some kisses. We're just comfortable around eachother.

Dinner was awesome, he said that it was delicious, amd i habe to agree. I put my best foot forward on that one. Then we headed over to his place, and some of his friends were already waiting out in their cars. He introduced me as his lady. I looked at him and we both smiled. So I guess we are officially a couple. 😄 Even though we already felt like we were.

We snuggled on the couch while watching the fight and he was telling me about the fighters. Some I couldn't stand to watch, too much blood. It felt good just being snuggled and close to him. His friends were all really nice guys, one brought his girlfriend and she was too.

After they left, we were on the couch talking and snuggling and kissing. He suddenly got serious and took my face and told me how thankful he is to have me in his life, and how he's liked me for so long and how he can finally call me his lady. It was so sweet.

How can I not put out to that?!!!! Lol

But seriously....

It was pure magic between us for hours after that. Looking deeply into my eyes.
I never want to be without his arms wrapped around me and bury myself there.

I woke up to coffee and breakfast.
Then we watched a movie in bed, and more loving, and then went and had lunch together until I had to go to get some things done. I hated leaving him. My body is pretty sore right now, but I don't mind at all.

We're both just really happy.

Met my scorp mans mom, brother and family friends.
Their Christmas eve party was so much fun. His mom is an Aries/taurus cusp and brother a Virgo. Both really nice people. His.mom said she's known about me for a long time now and was glad she finally met me.
