Let's compare planetary positions

Ok, I'm curious about how much Scorpio and other signs everyone has, so let's compare.

Sun - Scorpio
Moon - Aries (I have a temper and can lash out and make sudden decisions).
Mercury - Sagittarius (Extremely open-minded. Love discussions on life, have a talent for psychology)
Venus - Libra (Love expensive things. Always dressing up. IE: Banana Republic)
Mars - Virgo (A perfectionist at work)
Jupiter - Sagittarius
Saturn - Scorpio
Uranus - Sagittarius
Neptune - Sagittarius
Pluto - Scorpio
True Node - Gemini

Sun-Libra/Scorp cusp(my personality traits etc fit Scorpio profile more so than Libra the majority of times.

Moon-Libra (Gentle)
Mercury-Scorpio-(don't miss a beat! Extreme sarcasim!)
Venus-Scorpio-(dark and nasty)
Mars-Cancer-(overly sensitive and highly creative)
Jupiter- Sagittarius-(optimistice and lucky)
Saturn-Capricorn
Uruanus-Leo
Neptune-Scorpio
Pluto-Virgo
True Node-Virgo

I am not sure if I have the last four planets correct, but I do know that they are Leo, Scorpio and Virgo. I might have them in the wrong order?

What exactly does True Node mean? My astrology book doesn't explain that.

Well, your true node is your north and south node if im not mistaken. It is linked to your karmic mission in this life. The south node is what you already are, where you are coming from and what you strive to change about yourself in order to be more like your north node. If your true node (which i take it is your north node) is in gemini, this means your south node is in sagittarius. This would indicate you have very sagittarian tendencies in this life (outspoken, frank, adventure seeker) but that your soul wants to transcend these ways and become more like the gemini (creative, flexable, witty). Basically, the nodes are your souls journey.

For Suzy-Q, her true/north node being in virgo means her south node is in pisces. This means she has a piscean constitution (sensitive, psychic perhaps, intuitive) but that she needs to transcend this and become more virgo-like in the way she operates.

The nodes are all about the souls journey and what one needs to transcend in this lifetime.

My north node is in pisces, which means my south node is in virgo. I feel right about this as i often find myself being rigid (like a virgo) but am most happiest when i feel totally unrestrained and free to do what i please.

Just note that the south node is where you have been and what feels most comfortable now. The north node is where your soul wants to be. The north and south nodes will always be in opposition to each other so when you know where your north node is, you automatically work out where your south node is.

Thanks Libragirl, I never knew that about the true node. I highly doubt I want to be like a Gemini, though. Blah, and double blah. I love being somewhat Sagittarius.

This is true, but sometimes not always a good thing. Being over sensitive means over emotional and it is draining on me and those around me, I am sure! Operating more as a Virgo might be a good thing for a change(cool and analytical).LOL! Somehow I doubt it!!!

I don't know all my planetary positions,but I have an astrologist friend who once told me that i have north node in Scorpio.
What is this north node actually and how does this placement affect me?Is it more important than the other planets?What about the importance of the ascendent?-she also told me that after the age of 25 the ascendent sign begins to influence more and more the personality,and after the age of 30 would be more important than the Sun Sign.

My mom has always had electroluxs, and today the standard model goes for around $ 1200.00. I don't think they are that great. I think I would hire a maid if I was gonna shell out that much cash!

To get the true/north node thing, go to a chart site, i think scorp guy gave an address.

I'll write a few quotes i have from a book i have:

"The nodes of the moon are not planetary bodies; they are points formed by the moon's orbit around the earth intersecting with the earth's path around the sun. The direction of the nodes is counterclockwise: the north node is the ascending node (the point closest to our north pole) and the south node is the south nodes is the descending node (the point closest to our south pole). They are always exactly 180 degrees apart".

"The south node position in the chart (directly opposite the north node) depicts an aspect in our character that has been overemphasized in past lives, and thus tends to take over the personality in this lifetime and throw us off balance. When we are acting without awareness, we tend to 'act out' the south node position in response to our envirnment because we have been accustomed to that approach working to our advantage. However, in this lifetime, our experiences show us that approaching a situation from the stance shown by the position of the southern node in our chart is no longer working".

"The sign in which the north node falls denotes the psychological shift that needs to occur within the personality. The house containing the north node shows the experiences that allow the person to access this new pychological awareness".

The author talks about 'tendencies to leave behind'. These are your south node tendencies.

'Attributes to develop' are 'gifts and talents ' that are at your disposal in this lifetime. This is a part of you that has been totally neglected. You need to rebalance your life by developiong the attributes offered to you by your north node.

In a chart reading it will always give you your true or north node. This is where you are heading, these are the attributes you need to develop. The south node is its polar opposite and represents the tendencies you have taken with you throughout your incarnations on this plane. They are what you have to transcend in order to reach a greater sense of wholeness.

The lilith is another name for the "Black Moon". Do a search using "google" under "astrological lilith". It's to complicated to even begin to describe here and there's a lot of info on it out there.

Are you sure you don't have that backward? Isn't your N. Node in Libra. Most astrological charts don't give you the South Node; they give the North Node. Here is what I found and you can take it for what it is worth? Take it easy and I am sorry for the words we had the other night. I hope you will forgive me?!

N. Node in Libra
Here you are at the half-way point, trying to figure out if you are better

i know wutchu mean libragirl, when i was reading what suzy Q sent, i so could relate to it. But i dont know, it said that my south node was in libra.... *shrugs* anyway, ur lilith is in cancer? thats kewl ^^ i dont really know what the lilith thing means but im sure it does have some sort of part to you o_O i dont know, mines in gemini, and my sun sign is gemini too, so i guess thats why i can relate to gemini so much. I dont know, all these other places for planets, like me having libra moon and saggy rising has some place in my personality too..gawd i dont know ~_~, horoscopes are bloody confusing!

Yeah i know, you could pick apart every aspect of yourself and ascribe it to a certain sign! I dont suppose environment or genetics plays any part in it does it?! I think you believe what you want to believe.
