Oh wow. I hope it didn't do too much damage to people's homes and people are safe. The only sh*t storm in Toronto is the latest on the Mayor hitting the crack pipe on video.
I'm on a strict ignore all bullsh*t diet. Lets see how much dead weight I can lose for the new year.
I'm hoping it will. I already feel a bit better. I am worried about going too far to the left though, becoming too detached. I have a tendency to do that.

I'm just playin' with you btw. Fall is my favorite time of year. I love when the leaves change colour and the fashion is great.

Thanks Kiwi. My PMS effects me in odd ways. I tend to be very sensitive and can get irrationally upset. I was about to rip that Aqua on the board a new one and I know I just need to chill out because I'm clearly projecting because I've been in her Scorp's shoes. I detest people that violate other people's privacy. I don't put up with, nor do I forgive it. I don't care what the reason is.
I'm just hoping this dinner party is going to be more entertaining than it is right now......How have you been lady?

Well... my brother-in-law came over to install my new rangehood yesterday and dropped the power drill straight through my ceramic cook top. *sigh* covered by insurance, but still a pain in the arse! I have a new flattie moving in next weekend so if it's not fixed by then I hope the new guy likes toast... hehehe!
And just set up the obligatory "meet at the pub for my birthday drinks" on fb as people keep asking me what I'm doing... Now I'm annoyed that it was posted 1/2 an hour ago and only one friend has RSVP'd so far- useless gits! -_-

It is Charlotte's hen party...? so the party belongs to Charlotte ('s) but are the hens?
He enters the room and all of the women notice. Some of the men do too. Dressed well, poised. He greets the host with a warm hug, asks for a drink and surveys the room. There is something about him. Hmph......
The women try to get his attention. Some stand around him and stare. He pretends not to notice? I'm amused. Eventually a few women approach him to engage in conversation. He's amused, but not really interested...It's his body language. The way his eyes search the room while laughing at whatever joke that has been shared. I recognize that look. He's not connected to what is being said or the women around him. We eye each other for a few seconds. Stare for a few more.
One in particular goes in for the kill. She stands close, leans in, smiles.....a lot. They chat for a few minutes. I'm amused by their —dance??.
He makes his way over to me when she leaves his side.
Him: "You don't seem to be enjoying yourself."
How would he know that?
Me: "I'm actually quite amused."
Him: "Oh. I was hoping it would pick up a bit. I guess it will when the guest of honour gets here."
Me: "What? Your harem isn't entertaining you?"
He laughs. Takes a sip. Stares. Sits.
Him: "Can I get you a drink?"
Me: "No."
He smirks. Chuckles a bit. Tilts his head slightly and stares. I recognize that look. He's studying me.
Him: "So how do you know _________?"
Me: "We met in high school. You?"
Him: "We share a birthday"
Ah, he's a Scorpio........
Me: "Were you born in the same delivery room, because you didn't actually tell me how the two of you met."
He laughs. Stares. Eventually answers. Continues to stare.
There is something about that Scorp energy I tell you.....
Well, it's officially the 4th where I live. Since I know you don't like the spotlight shining on your fluffy a**, I'll keep it in the cozy confines of the Asylum.....

Lol. Birthday "surprise" party. She knew already. I mean, you can't hide too many things from a Scorp. It was fine. I just wasn't really in the mood, but at the same time wanted to get out of the house. It picked up later on as the night progressed.
Don't get too frustrated with your friends. My girls are like that too. They've been asking me for weeks about birthday plans and I'd rather they just not ask me than flake out now that I've finally decided. I'm honestly cool with a few phone calls while I watch a good movie, enjoy an exquisite dinner and a lovely chocolate cake all to myself. I have a standing reservation on a large sofa. No waiting.
I now have a grand total of 7 attendees!

I was the same, I'm happy just seeing what happens on the day... But I got asked by 3 people on Sunday and absolutely loathe repeating myself so I'll accommodate the masses and save my breath at the same time!
