Pfff. Tough my a**. I won't accept the call. I told him not be stupid and give out my number again. His response, "oh she won't call. I just wanted to see if she really wants to know who I was venting too." How this man has been on this earth 15 years longer than I have been and NOT know how that decision and response is all types of wrong is beyond me.

He already knows I have a temper and hate drama. It will pass......

We will not beg because we give a lot in turn.

Pineapples, that is precisely my point of view as well in regards to being but a consolation prize, always being rated as 'second best', besides we are always given the option to allow others to place us there or to leave, Stingers leave with the reputation left in tact.

No, either we are the one and only. . .or not, never will accept being simply an option for we should be the sole chosen one. If a man waffles, then that speaks multitudes upon their character, or rather it means there were not there or not fully willing to be but emotionally available, dragging their feet along. Rather simple in fact, either you want me as I want you or you do not, if there a slightly chance of being an insurance policy or placed upon the back-burner, you lose me.

No time left to waste, life goes on, we are not around waiting for others, man up, grow a pair of them great big balls, make the decision, if not, then too bad, a lost chance.

If you are a 'cold- hearted Cookie Monster', then sign me up, you are hardly the only one alone in that committee 😉

The thing is this. True love will never make you compete with another person or leave you hanging to consider options. So honestly, we know what happens when we've gone all in and are flowing it all in our lovers direction. It's intense. But our lover may get a few dreams realized along the way.

Personally, I cannot fathom even turning that faucet to drip if we are not on the same page. It's easier to pull out and move on.

However, having said that, if the waffling comes from a place where I'm the chosen one but circumstances or life gets in the way or whatever *else* is the cause, I may find it in my heart to stick around and see what happens because, frankly, choosing someone and having them choose you doesn't come along every day. 🙂

This is going to sound bad, but I can go years without finding someone who I even find interesting in a romantic sense. As long as I'm n?mero UNO, I can put up with a vast amount of crap. Fixed madness.

Truth, yes I think our male counterparts are a bit mushy, but I truly appreciate your mushy bits. It gives you the ability to understand and support us like no other. Obviously, I am a "bit" bias, but I love the passion, strength and committment shown by Scorps, Crabs and the deep sea Water Dwellers, which I think is there because you are so sappy.

I'm sure she is picking up on all of the crap he's slinging around, even if he doesn't say it directly to her like he claims. The attitude reads in every word. No way that isn't felt/seen in real life.

I have a general question that's not thread worthy, but I'd like some feedback just the same. How would you handle someone lying to you if you accidently discovered the truth from a third party (mutual friend)? I know what I want to do, because I do not respond well to people lying to me. At all. It completely turns me off and I want to distance myself from the person especially because the lie was sooooo unnecessary. Basically, the person fabricated a whole story about being out of town to explain why they have been so distant, where in fact the person hasn't stepped foot outside of their home for a week.

I just don't want to bring this other person (mutual friend) into the mix. I am at the point where I want to distance myself from the liar and I feel I should explain why, but I can't without it possibly creating an issue. I'm trying to avoid the typical "cold shoulder without giving a reason" thing I know I am capable of doing. The other option is ignore the lie and move on.

I asked my Leo gf and her response was "well you'll end up cutting off the world if you hate liars. Everyone lies" *WTF*?

Am I just being too demanding or stubborn?

once that line is crossed, it's just hard to 'go back'. the only thing that is salvageable at that point, is my empathy. if they were having a difficult time and just wanted to spend time away from everyone...and concocted the story to find some alone time....I might be able to let it slide a little.

This is what I think it is, but I'm so stubborn! There is this part of me that is saying "I don't care why you did it--there is no reason to lie" and the other part that is trying to be understanding and see the "grey" (the lie didn't hurt me, so why not give the person some slack?).

I respect people that are straight up. I don't have to like what you say, but you should always speak your mind. I can move past not liking what you say much faster than a lie.

Funny thing, If I let this go doesn't that make me a hypocrite? *sigh*
