I adore Leonine Mercuries. 😄 😄 😄

Their deep need and desire for those soft, gentle and loving but still authentic ego strokes are most certainly amusing on a good day. However on a bad day, it does make one wish to but strangle them, in that 'ohhhh, but it feels so good' way. 😉

(Never quite had that problem in regards to the slow response time, or perhaps I have adapted to their quirks by keeping busy myself, then time flies by and one hardly ever notices their odd behaviours. Although thus far I am not banking upon it, since both of you ladies have had the same shared problem therefore I should hope it would never be the case in mine. Fingers and toes crossed. . .oh dear)

There is static electricity in the air. I can sense it. The tide is about to change and I am standing on the precipice.

I don't know how or why or when - aka I have no idea what I mean.. I cannot put it into words, but I feel it. And have for the last month or two.

Move to Melbourne, Australia with me M&M's!!! We'd have a blast 😄 - drink oodles of wine and post ridiculousness on DXP!

Gah, don't tempt me!

Either way, I need to start saving my pennies for a sojourn to the Southern hemisphere 😄

I'm watching this movie and I swear it's the "made for tv" version of DXP. FWB, Christian guy, girl give great hea---hugs. She wants more and begins to act clingy and he sticks around because her hugs are awesome. She even gets baptized....let's see how this ends. It's based on a real story (Jodi Arias)

did you follow the trial?!

that was crazy.

I didn't even hear about it until this movie. I don't really follow domestic murder trials. Perhaps my experience has numbed me to what most would consider "horrible and horrific" as far as crimes goes. Serial murders or what one would consider an anomalous crime is a different story. I am fascinated by the psychological makeup of the people involved in those cases. This was just a bad version of Fatal Attraction.

What I found a little suspect was the fact that she is currently not in her right mind and still fabricating the events (from what I understand), so how were the producers able to get an unbiased account of their relationship to do this movie? Just sayin'. Unless everyone involved had a hand in making a movie, I always take it with a grain of salt. That aside, it was classic DXP (minus the murder *grimace*). What bothered me the most is the fact that I have a lot of male friends that often throw up their hands in confusion when a girl "loses it". Similar to this movie, there were clear signs that this woman was "off" or just not long-term material, but he was still sexually involved with her. I'm sorry any hint of cray and I'm out. I don't need to know why you're doing it, nor do I want to find out how far you'll take it. Too many people in the world to be hung up one one. True, I know I can be very quick to cut someone off, but hey I can say my life is pretty drama free.

I was also watching the biopic of Lizzie Borden yesterday too. I'm more interested in her trial and will probably look into that, although I know the info will be biased given the era.

the rest...got cut off...

arias - was a very interesting case. the mind behind it. what lead up to it. her lying. pathalogical? i'm not into the gore and stuff either; but the manner of how she killed him - is quite telling in itself.
now lizzie borden WOW - that is an interesting case too. have you read up on it on crimelibrary? she was cleared at court - never convicted - in those days i think also due to the fact that she was a woman - and she had a bloody good lawyer. as you stated, much of truth is now buried too; we??ll never know for sure what went on in that household - and according to info a lot went on - lesbian relation with her sister, abuse by the father, a greedy step mother etc. - it was a rage kill for sure though.

i??d like to hear your take on the borden case - 🙂

Thanks, I'm going to read this after work (while I knit a scarf--LOL. True story). From what I was reading and based on the movie there may have been a sexual relationship between Lizzie and her father. I agree, her gender played a huge role in her being acquitted. I think an even larger role than her lawyer's skills--I don't know...I mean there was a murder similar in nature while she was in custody, yet he didn't even raise it as evidence. It was probably a copy cat, but that would have been reasonable suspicion, which wasn't even argued at the trial.

I love Scorpios, regardless of gender. I instinctively want to link arms, nuzzle their shoulder, and watch 'True Crime' shows with them whilst drinking wine and eating gummy candy. Idk why.

For some reason the ones IRL usually find my childish silliness amusing, and I find them fluffy and fun. For whatever reason, it works. Or twerks, as the case may be. Giddy up 😉

That does sound cute and I get the "I want my own---I'm original got dammit" thing Kiwi

Isn't it funny that we spend our adolescence trying to be like everyone else chameleon-esque and then all of a sudden want to establish our own individuality in latter years?

No, I experienced that in grade school because I was very awkward and simply wanted to blend in. "Exotic" name, taller than all of the boys (thank God they caught up in high school)....I didn't want to be different. By middle school I was already starting to rebel and did anything to stand out. I was an early bloomer in that regard. It was my own version of "f*ck the world, this is me" phase. I was also very angry, so I really didn't care what people thought about me.
