On Being Secretive

I've been accused of several things.

But I am always, ALWAYS accused by those who love me most of being a Secret Keeper. Now, I will not say that I don't keep some things tucked away?because I do. Guilty-as-Charged. I've also come across people who say that I tend to speak too freely about things that would better serve me unsaid. What they don't know is that though they know a great deal about the ?What's?, they have no clue as to the ?Why's.?

Here's a short bit of stuff on why (bear with me, okay?):

There are some things that I wish for no one to stockpile and use as ammunition against me until I AM READY for them to: by that time, I will have examined the nature of my withheld information, learned my lesson from it and grown ten-times-over from the experience. Squeaky clean.

I only answer questions to which I have answers. So to those who think I am hiding something: I'm not. I'm waiting for the answer to come AND I'm waiting for the listener to be receptive to the answer.

It's not some Mystical Reason as to why I am very ?secretive.? I wouldn't even consider it being secretive. It's more like ?patient.? When I am ready for someone to know the answer (because my ?secrets? always hold an answer to a question, asked or not-yet-unveiled), then they'll know. But not before then.

This information is held quiet also because the Scorpio is Ever-lutionary. I am ALWAYS growing and learning and to reveal one thing that might, in a week, be inapplicable is a waste of time and effort.

So, I really, really dislike being associated with Secrecy. Those who want any information worth knowing from a Scorpio must be patient (even though I tend to be impatient with myselg and imperfection as it directly relates to me).

Its just part of our nature..its as if we are born with it..Everyone just needs to get over it and move on..We know the secrets but will not disclose unless somebody has put us in a position to.

Are you completely insane..if we don't tell our nearest and dearest, what makes you think we would tell a complete stranger..

If the secrets don't affect the present, why tell them..

what about it? i'll tell a stranger only if i plan to keep that person at a decent enough distance so that the information i've disclosed will never come back to bite me...until i'm ready to tell.
