So there is a really attractive Indian (from Asia) woman at work who I like to flirt with. Actually, we kind of like to flirt with each other. We're both Scorps, so I was hoping to get a few verbal jabs from her. So far, I'm the only one pressing her buttons in a playful way of course. She claims to like peace and doesn't like to sting, yet I remain unconvinced.

The appeal is she's exotic to me. The downside is we work together and uh.. oh yeah, she's a Scorp. Similar to myself, she's got these smouldering eyes that can give heat.

There's definitely an interesting vibe between two Scorps; an exciting chemistry certainly exists at the beginning.

It can be a wonderful thing if both are mature (I think) and the timing is right there is a tight knit bond that formulates immediately and a profound friendship above all because you communicate on a nonverbal level and understand where eachother is coming from when it seems no one else does. Wierd but can be special.

However, the clashing is when scorp man wants to be possessive and controling and scorp woman ain't having it. LOL!!!

FA: "And btw, perhaps because of her culture and/or her values, she's not the type of Scorpio who likes verbal sparring or may be she REALLY does like peace and harmony."

Well, my Debra certainly isn't exotic, but she definitely is a Scorp, and she definitely DOES NOT like to spar with her verbally-gymnastic Virgo husband... dammit!!

Another reason for me to play around on DXP... gotta have an outlet for all this polemic energy!

***Just because you've dated outside your race doesn't mean anything. And it's to me very prejudicial and insulting when people call someone of a different race exotic. It's insulting whether you know it or not. I wasn't trying to give you a hard time about it, but that really didn't sound right.***

It all depends on the person's perception. I have heard people call someone exotic in or out of their race, which at these moments meant that the person had a unique and keen look different (more attractive) than your average lookers per se. It could be because they have beautifully full naturally arched eyebrows, or a piculiar eye color etc. No matter what the race.

I doubt that S_R was being racist or trying to insult anyone. For goodness sakes he speaking of a woman he is attracted to. it all depends on a person't perception.

I think AB was referring to the tendency of some to use the terms "exotic" and "attractive" interchangeably, when describing a person of a different ethnic background. It implies that physical features of certain ethnicities ALL fall under one umbrella, or that a particular geographic area miraculously yields desirable features, as opposed to say, mediocrity.

"he dates outside of his race as if to say that that doesn't make him prejudicial. We're all racist at some level"

You are a dork. If one is racist, is one willing to date outside one's race? In your feminazi world, it's only because men want to objectify the "exotic" girl like some white slavemaster doing the slave. Grow up and put your women's studies books down.

"he got defensive and acted like an ass."

Yeah, because I'm plain sick and tired of Bay Area pseudo-intellectuals like you. Just curious, what is your evidence of your maturity and intelligence? You seem to like to come on to Scorpio board and rile people up. Where's the maturity in that?

Is the evidence of your awesomeness the Wonder Woman icon?

Probably just typical Aries bullshit bluster. Don't worry, I'm used to your kind. My sister's an Aries, and she's five times worse. But she's got redeeming qualities for me.

"And I thought you didn't care what I thought, so why are you continuing to respond?"

I'm in the mood. Besides, I really like to spar with aries because you guys tend to be attention whores and empty blowhards with false egos. And you're easy to rile up.

"Once again, you show your lack of intelligence and nastiness by name calling and assuming that anyone that calls you out on calling someone exotic must be a man hater. You're really insecure and stupid."

Great evidence of your intelligence and maturity, aries.

Do we get upset if we refer to exotic locales, islands, or foods? Why is it so denigrating to refer to exotic people? Even now I can't think of a better and more lively adjective for "different." But that would be boring language, and this is a message board.

"I'm an intelligent person who gets it, and you clearly aren't a person who gets anything."

A wonderful example of your balance and full-of-shit personality.

"You seem to equate a person dating outside of their race with not being racist, and that in and of itself shows you how little you understand things."

Please enlighten me, oh wise one. You know I just want to flirt with this girl so I can objectify her in her my mind. Has nothing to do with the fact that she's pretty, interesting, and got a nice Scorpio edge -> as opposed to the bland bluster of your kind.

***but all the female Scorps I have met in my life time were really, really crazy ... I'm talking really, really crazy and loud and very out there, our personality was so different, even though they were ok with me one on one but even how they were with others was too much for me. I haven't met a laid back female Scorp yet, must be interesting. A Scorp/Scorp union can be an interesting but I say if she's flirting with you just keep flirting. I don't think it means more than flirting. I personally will only deal with a female Scorp that is completely crazy for me and me for her, I think this is when you'll get the best out of each other.***

I have never been known to be a LOUD scorp. A direct one, yes, confident, yes, but loud and insincere. Neva!!!

I am laid back but social, however some men find me intimidated. Some have actually told me that when they see me it is intimidating but once we start talking I was a really down to earth person. I don't know if it a stereotype thing, but to add to what F'ng A is saying one guy actually said, "you know how you light skinned hazel eyed girls are always stuck up" it was offensive but I smiled and told him he should broaden his horizons, if I was remotely attracted to him then he killed it right there.... LOL!!!

Scorp/scorp can be exceptionally blissful with all the passion and loyalty IF they both are commited to eachother only. Like you said... I can just imagine! 🙂

You're light-skinned? You look brown-skin to me.

I know some loud Scorps. Well, it depends on what you mean by "loud". When I use the term loud, I am referring to a person who is always in everyone's business, and blurting it out all across town. Someone who doesn't know when to hush and be still. Loud people don't know the meaning of class and decency.

Now, if you mean loud in terms of volume, I can be loud. Most ppl say I either speak too loudly or too softly. I don't hear very well compared to most. I'm going to need a hearing aid by 30. 😢
