Scorp Women and Cancer Men.....Do they work—?

Hi Everyone!

I am Scorpio woman who has her eyes on a certain Cancer male. The only problem is that he is kinda seeing someone right now. She is an Aries. he has told me that they are pretty much at the end of their rope....she has told him that she has become bored with him and he does not feel like she gives him enough in the relationship (attention, caring, time etc.).

He has also expressed interest in me...but is waiting until things are completely settled to really try to start anything romantic with me. However, he still calls me every night....and we still spent the night together this wekend (no sex) just cuddling.

So, I guess I have three questions. 1) Are Cancer men compatible with Scorp woman? 2)Should I be concerned about this girl...or just be patient and allow her to slowly fade out of the pic? 3) How can a Scorp woman go about wooing a Cancer man?

I think these astrologers talk a load of bollox at times...They always match Scorpio/pisces, scorpio/cancer..when in rweality these pairings suck..big time!

My best relationship was with a Leo and another with a fellow Scorpio...I have desires to murder cancer and pisces men and would not dream of having them as a life partner..perish the thought!

I don't often lose my temper but when I do, consider a red mist moment..I am perfectly capable of killing..hence i tend to walk away most of the time..Can't be bothered with all that..been there, done that, got the t-shirt...

I was married to a Cancer, and I would have to agree with the majority of the posts above... It has its high points, but it also had its extremely, extremely, extremely low points.

Points to re-iterate:
"he does not feel like she gives him enough in the relationship (attention, caring, time etc.)"
"mummy's boyz the lot of them!"
"Either too whiny or too selfish"

But, if you would like to continue, it doesn't sound like you need to do much to "woo" him. It sounds like you have already done that. Just keep up whatever you were doing before...

This combination does work to an extent. My cancer and I get along very well. We have been together for 4 years. I almost forgot to mention I'm a Scorpio. He is the only person who can just look at me and know what is wrong before I even say a word. Now as everyone else has said there are some low points. He tends to be extremely self centered at times. Not only that when he is frustrated or stressed out he falls into the "Woe is me everyone is out to get me. The world must come to a stand still because I am stressed out." attitude. Most male Cancers are very sweet but will put you through test after test to make sure you are the right person to be sweet on. Hope this helps.

It could work but it would depend on how strong the Cancer man is. Since Scorpio females want to be dominated, if the Cancer has Leo in him, that could make a big difference! I would do a synastry report and see what it tells you.

Cancer men can take a long time to open up. If they get into a whiny mood, tough love doesn't work (it could make him withdraw and getting him out the shell is hard). I would suggest using Scorpio empathy and compassion to soothe the moody Cancer or leave him alone until he's ready.

I think some Cancer men can be complex, just like their polar opposites Capricorn men.
Cancers needs attention and affection in heavy doses (unless they have lots of Gemini in their chart).

I agree on the Pisces men comments. They are too soft and elusive for me. The ones I know move too fast and have little ambition. I cannot stand lies, even little lies and it seems they will lie when they feel cornered. They say Capricorn-Pisces is a great match but I need a man that would dominate me and Pisces seem like doormats.

I don't understand that mentality..and I have VERY little time for it too...it irritates me to the point of lashing out..thats why I wouldn't be a very good counsellor..

I was with my leo for aaaaages...very secure, loving relationship..but it came to a point where I didn't love him anymore..maybe it built up over 6 months..was losing interest in him, then the interest disappeared altogther. I went on holiday alone to rejuvenate myself, came back and told him it was over and that I can't live a lie...over and done with...

I can't relate to the Scorpios having baggage and afraid to let go...that part doesn't apply to me AT ALL..
