This was about 20 years ago that I dated a cancer so it’s been a while, I remember there was one that I had it really bad for for several years. But it was imbalanced, he knew how I felt about him and used it to his advantage and hurt me more than once. I was also very young though, we both were.
Any cancer I dated after that, again, it was unbalanced except with them, it was the opposite they were pursuing me and I gave it a shot.. went on a few dates but nothing clicked.click to expand
Maybe you just went off Cancers, especially after your past experiences with them. Just like I went off Scorpios because I didn't want to restrict myself based on sun sign alone.

I've had good friendships with Cancer-influenced people. For example, one of my closest friends has a Cancer moon.
