FuckinA: "Anyways, as much as I love Virgoes, I think they are one of the easiest signs to get unfortunately. I don't think it matters the sign so long as they have someone who's passionate and different enough from them to pull them out of their analytical, nerdy self."

Nope. Sorry. It's an interesting theory, but based on what I've read and seen, it doesn't hold. For a passionate woman to draw us out, we have to take her seriously - first. The biggest problem I had with my Scorp early on was a feeling that she was rushing me to open up emotionally - completely different approach from my LibraEX, who let things develop at a more leisurely Virgo pace...

Personally, when I look at the VirGuys I know: The Cancer & Virgo couple are way more touchy-feely in public than Debra & I are; the Aries & Virgo couple are way more passionate in public than Debra & I are; and yet, people have told me they can see the smoldering passion between Debra & I, even though we are so understated in public.

"I bet with Dyr, it's the same thing with his wife. She probably has qualities that remind him of his mom or a motherly figure and she's different enough so that she ISN'T his mother and is different enough from him to keep that spark and passion."

No, not at all. My Leo Mom was nothing like my Scorpio Wife. Debra is nothing like any of the other women I've ever been in love with. In the past, I've been most attracted to dark-haired women with an intellectual slant who can speak their own mind, and hold their own in a debate with me (Virgo, then Taurus, then Libra). Debra is a petite blond Scorpio who feels before she thinks. She is not an intellectual. She will not debate me. She either feels great passion & commitment for something, or she could care less.

And yet... she intrigues me like no other woman ever has. I could spew out a VLL (Virgo Laundry List) of all the things I love about her, and she would not be impressed -- she'd say I'm, "thinking too much" about something that for her requires no thought. If I press her to tell me why she loves me, she'll say it's because I'm a Good Man. That's it. (We're both Southerners, so we know what all is encompassed by Good Man, but she could be a bit more verbose!)

Dude, are you sure you wanna go down this rocky road?? Look where it gets you!

If someone had told me back in January 2006 that I was gonna be married again and a Daddy again at age 47, I would've asked for some of their stash...

DY: "I've been most attracted to dark-haired women with an intellectual slant who can speak their own mind, and hold their own in a debate with me (Virgo, then Taurus, then Libra)."

FA: "Okay, well Debra may be an exception, but you've already stated what type of women you've dated in the past which shows a consistency with my original point."

HUH??

Since when are Virgo or Taurus chicks known for being "passionate and different enough" to draw out that side of a Virgo guy?? A Libra chick... maybe. (She tried - bless her heart!)

I'm glad you get along so well with your VirGuy, but honestly, ain't no way I could deal with the Aries women I've met over the years. Yeah, y'all are sexy as all get out, and your vibes are intriguing to a Book Worm, but I'd have to go on some serious anti-reality meds to take a chance marrying one of you. One Night Romp In The Sack? Yes! And I'd probably count myself as Very Lucky! Wedding March down the church aisle? No way! I'd be the Runaway Groom!!

The One VirGuy I know who's married to an Aries Gal is WAY MORE laid-back and unflappable than I am. We're both Southerners, but he's got that Gentility Gene that my Yankee Virgo Dad lacked. I don't know where he gets the energy -- they are on the go all the time!

My Scorp is about as far out on the passion limb of that emotional tree as I care to go. Believe it or not, but for once I didn't play it safe -- went with a woman well outside my comfort zone. It's been worth it, but it's also been tough -- for both of us.

tollbooth: "Haha! Well, you seem content with it Dyar."

Dude, I'm the happiest I've ever been living with a woman. It's cliche, but we so GET each other. It's a serious, passionate, genuine, naturally erotic connection. When she first talked about having kids, I thought she was nucking futz, but now I get at least part of her motivation: The Twins are a REAL expression of what is almost impossible to say in words. She got that before I did (as usual!).

Makes perfect sense actually.

Wow, I know I am like the typing terrorist but I have never seen such long posts in one thread on here. Definitely Passionate Scorpios and Analytical Virgos all up and through here. 🙂

Just wanted to make a few points. I DO NOT DATE FIRE SIGNS. No offense but they can be self-indulgent and scarily temperamental.

Virgo's CAN knock Scorpios off their butts. However we won't do that if we love or respect our Scorpio. Someone said it correctly, we're not afraid but most Scorpios think we are. They don't acknowledge how close we get to taking off their masks. We don't care that you don't because its not our goal to win you, so it's all good. 🙂

The only reason a Virgo will even appear to hold back (against any sign) is because our motive is not to disrupt but to be enlightened. Receiveing negativity in return for our inquisitions kind of catches us off guard. I think we're oblivious to the buttons we push sometimes. And, I will always say I am exhausting so to the person who discvoered they were annoying, yeah we are lol.

I came to DXP about a Scorp/Sag cusp November 22nd (before noon is Scorp and after noon is Sag). I am currently involved (sorta) with another cuspian Nov 21st. He was a friend who I lost contact with in early 2005 and got back in touch with in 2008. We slept together for the first time and he is MIA. I asked him a couple of questions, one of which he told me was hard but another he was honest because after playing the "what do you mean" game for a minute and having me say it in a thousand different ways I simply told him to stop screwing with me and answer the damn question. So whoever said that Scorpios recognize what we Virgos are up to in trying to figure them out and that they turn it around and boggle our minds, you are on point for real with this. He won't draw my emotions out. I won't say a peep more, he will have to come back to me or we're over for good. It's not about power, but I refuse to play this game. I didnt come in to this on game mode and I am not going to play the game mode. I don't do the game mode. It's a waste of energy and poor use of emotions.

Lastly, I don't know how perfect the match is, I have heard success stories too but I have never really seen where astrologically it was reported that we were compatible signs. Scorpio men are always drawn to me and I in turn become obsessed with them (and gladly). We don't work out because I am SO friggin inquisitive that they get out the kitchen because they admittedly can't take the heat. 😢 I do enjoy getting involved with a Scorpio and that is continuously against my best friend's wishes lol.

My best friend of 10yrs is Scorpio - Oct 31st and all of the men I've been with have been November Scorpios Nov 16th, 21st, 22nd and there is one more I don't know his birthday. October Scorpios are not attracted to me I guess. My best friend thinks Virgo men are boring. I don't attract October Scorpios so maybe they think I am boring too lol. 🙂

FuckinA: "...Virgoes need passionate partners who inspire them to not be stuck in one place and who keep them young at heart and playful. That's been my point."

Well sh1t-fire! Why didn't you say so in the first place?? I can agree with that...

My advice to "passionate" women who want a VirGuy is simply: Build credibility before you get emotional. Catch his mind first, or you won't catch his heart. Once you're IN, you can do just about anything to / with one of us -- but ya gotta get there, first!!

WELL VIRGOS GET ON MY NERVE. AND I THINK THAT, IT'S REALLY ANYB OF OUR BUSINESS IF CANCERKITTEN, YOUR FRIEND DECIDES TO BE WITH. IT'S HIS LIFE.BESIDES THEY'RE LOVE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SIGNS.. AND IN FACT, VIRGOS TO NOT KNOCK SOCRPIOS ON THEIR ASSES, WRITTEN BY BRAN:. THAT'S BULLSHEIT.. NOONE CAN GET TO SCORPIOS LIKE OTHER SCORPIOS CAN.. ALSO. I ONCE READ THAT, VIRGOS CRTICIZE ALL SIGNS , SENDING THEM HOME TO THEIR MAMA'S AND THEN THEY MEET THE SCORPIOS, AND THEY TRY THAT SAME SHEIT, AND SOCRPIO STINGS VIRGO... I THINK WE'RE AN ALRIGHT SCORPIO. BUT VIRGOS, UNEASYNESS AND FACADES ALONG WITH THEIR UNCENSORED MOUTHS BITE ME IN THE ASS. IT PISSES ME OFF, FORGET IT.. THEY THINK THEY CAN JUST SAY ANY DAMN THANG THEY WANT, AND THEY CAN'T...

VIRGOS ARE VERY CALCULATED AND PHONY TO ME.. SCORPIOS ARE TOO REAL , TOO MUCH OF THE SHIT. IN FACT, THEY SAY THAT, SCORPIO AND VIRGO SHOULD STAY APART BECAUSE THESE TO ADMIRE EACH OTHER FROM A FAR.. VIRGOS HAVE A WAYA OF MAKING US FEEL LIKE WE'RE DOING SOMETHING WRONG.. BULLSHEIT... I DON'T LIKE THAT. IN FACT, ALL THE EARTH SIGNS DO THIS TO US...

ANYWAY SCORPS ARE TOO STRONG...!~

All I can say is SCORPIOS rock. I bet you'd never see a treetrunking virgo or pisces Bill Gates or Hilary Clinton. Beat that! All scorpios have immense driven energy to suceed in anything they partake in, whether it be a relationship or a career. That is why we are the most powerful signs in the zodiac, NOBODY can beat a scorpio.... not in any aspect of life.

Dy,

It's interesting that Deb says she loves you because you're "a good man". I am good friends with a Virguy who, for various reasons, I will not be able to date or marry -- but we are both highly attracted and fond of each other.

Anyway, I saw him praying in church one day, and was struck by the sheer GOODNESS of him -- he is a typical Virg and likes to help people, pray for people. I beamed a big smile his way....I love his sincere goodness, and felt like I could really see how real it is.

God knows, I'm a flirt these days, and not going with my usual Scorp loyalty, but if I could marry anyone, be a lifetime friend with anyone, it would be this guy!

Roxi,

Since when is life with a Scorpio Woman boring?? Y'all don't let it get boring... and we love you for it. That's the secret to success with this pair...

Here's an image for the VirGuys (hey, tollbooth!) interested in ScorpGals: You're the broad shoulder for her car - when she gets too far over, and leaves the paved road, you nudge her back into the lane. Just don't nudge too hard, or try to make her over-correct, or there could be a wreck!!

Man! Have we changed each other!

Some of the sources say Scorpio & Virgo are a Mutual Admiration Society. With the exception of our very unique Roxijam, I've found that to be true, too...

I'm more passionate & spontaneous, and she's less compulsive & driven... Considering that we both have strong personalities, and can be stubborn as two mules, I'd say it's been a case of Mutual Improvement...

ROFL! One of the sexiest things that ever happened to me was when I was driving and my Aqua guy leaned over and straightened the wheel for me. As we don't speak the same language (he is Slavic), this motion was so telling! He's also cool enough to let me drive. (Please, no flames. One of the things I love about European men is that they know how to play the male/female game.)

Rox, I love you, but if you think goodness is boring, you have some serious growing-up to do. Goodness is the foundation of everything that's fun and exciting in life. And the Virg guy I have a crush on is too witty and mutable to bore me -- or anyone for that matter.

Eaglegirl, I agree with you. Goodness isn't boring, routines are boring. Don't let that guy - any guy - get too comfortable with the status quo, and you'll both be happy! Just keep in mind that too much compulsion in a Scorp IS NOT a good thing for anyone (even herself)...

"...you said Scorp is implusive Dy..."

Yes... but remember, that's by Virgo Standards. She's calmed down quite a bit over the last two years. I seem to have that effect on women -- and no, Roxi! Don't you dare say it's because I'm boring!

Well, I'll admit to a penchant for bad boys, too... Let's not put this all on Rox.

They were actually living out my *own* need for risk-taking behavior. When I started adding excitement to my life by a freelance career, I wasn't as interested.

But it's hard to take risks when you're home with the kids 🙂 So us fiery Scorp girls have to sit still for a few years.

I understand your fair-mindedness, FuckinA, and appreciate it. (Love your moniker!) I have some sympathy for abused women -- I was one. When we pick 'em, we don't know that they are going to be abusive.

Alot of women are abused and they are scared to admit it, because people blame them. "Oh, you sure can pick 'em." Roxi has been honest -- I have to respect that.

MissMorals is right, lighten up, have fun, enjoy life, what is life without passion, nothing.... I also dislike October Scorpios, I mean there are some good ones, but they just have that libra in them. they are true scorps to me...

Yeah that whole little statement about virogs knocking scorpios on our asses is the funniest comment of 2008 Roxi.. Virgos do delude themselves... ha ha ha ha

Also, I still hate Virgos. Naw, they just seem very fake, calculated and sensitive. They act like they got all the right answers and act as if they can say and judge anyone. Try that same sheit with them and they act as if your attacking them literally. I feel like everything tht comes out their mouth is pre meditated.. planned. not geniune or real..

I don't! But Aries Gals can rub me the wrong way. Not saying you're an egotist, but many of your Sign are, and that is a non-starter for us...

I've not known a Scorpio Woman yet who was a Drama Queen. They will let their emotions percolate for a while, but when they erupt, they are quite genuine.

Aries Women will wear their heart on their sleeve, but it's an honest heart, and Virgo Man will respond to their sincerity, too.

Very different ways of behaving and emoting, but both are taken seriously by us Earth Dudes...

This combination only seems to work well when the man is Virgo. It fails miserably the other way round. I've seen countless examples. Virgo women don't seem to be passionate enough for scorpio men. The men end up bitter and angry.
