"Yeah, sorry but Scorpios being the best match for Virgo still doesn't ring true to me."
I don't know that Scorpio is the best match for Virgo. (Jury's still out for me!) I do agree that the gender arrangement is important, and that Virgo Male matches Scorpio Female better than the other way around. I can't imagine my Scorp brother with a Virgo chick!! He would NEVER understand her, no matter how much he enjoyed making her cum...
I think Taurus is the Best Bet for Virgo. But astrology is just a guide, and not an immutable law of nature...
"I said you had established a commonality and foundation for a friendship to occur."
OK... but a friendship between us had not occurred - no time! And from other posters in this very thread, I see a similar pattern of rush to lover. (Not complaining, just making the point!!)
I'm a Virgo girl (8/27) and the guy (11/19) I've been off and on with for almost a year (it'll be a year in a month =D) and we get along so well. we think and act alike and since us Virgos are mutuable we change and almost mold ourselves into our significant others. However, Scorpios are more vindictive and take revenge when they've been crossed and that's not Virgo's street. I read somewhere that Virgo and Scorpio were once one sign and Libra came along to balance it out. Oh, and Dyar, you are right when it comes to goals and the way Scorpios and Virgos think; but they have different ways of getting there 🙂 my Scorpio is so sexy and all mine
About how Scorpio & Virgo learn from each other...
One night back before The Twins arrived, Debra and I were outside looking at the Moon and planets with my telescope. I made a comment about how she wasn't seeing any of these objects as they were "right now" because of the great distances the light had to travel to get to us. The Moon is about 2 light-seconds away, Jupiter is about 30 light-minutes away, and so on...
She looked at me with the kind of expression I probably give her when she's hit me with a flash of that amazing Debra intuition...
"You really understand all of that?" She wasn't doubting me - she was trying to confirm not only my knowledge of the facts, but my comprehension how it all worked as well...
I went on to describe visual versus absolute magnitude (Sirius & Rigel were in the sky), and that wobble in the proper motions of stars that helps us locate other planets outside our own solar system...
Point is, we have very different areas of expertise, but we have about an equal willingness to learn from each other, and as long as we keep growing together, I don't see this relationship running out of gas...
Dy: I went on to describe visual versus absolute magnitude (Sirius & Rigel were in the sky), and that wobble in the proper motions of stars that helps us locate other planets outside our own solar system...
I would have been wobbling very improperly by that point....and your magnitude would have been absolutely visual! Siriusly. Love it when guys turn me on with their scientific know-how.
Though I do understand the bit about not seeing what you think you're seeing because of the time it takes for light to travel. How cosmic and profound!
Eaglegirl: "Love it when guys turn me on with their scientific know-how."
Yeah, you know how Scorps are with revelations -- a mystery she hadn't really thought about before was revealed to her, and she caught my passion for the whole being outdoors under the stars thing that she really hadn't grasped before... Groovy moment for us!!
sagigoat, FuckinA is an Aries Woman - just admit that she's always right, and we're always wrong, and she'll be happier than Bill Clinton at a White House Intern Sleep-over...
I'm a Virgo guy married to a Scorpio gal - two years on 22 OCT! I was married to a Libra woman for over twenty years, and it's daylight / dark between the two.
Libra & I connected mentally, but never really got each other emotionally. Scorp & I are on the same page 90% of the time - never had this level of intimacy with a woman before. Yeah, they are INTENSE, but they're not all psychopaths!
Libra & I had a Scorpio daughter together, and she's turned out to be a fine young lady. Scorp & I had Twin Scorps together - coming up on their first birthdays in NOV! They're both feisty little critters, but definitely not evil [yet!]...
Mayb the virgo male and scorpio female is a better pairing then vice versa. My scorp bf and his ex virgo wife hate each other. She is always bringing the drama because she still wants to be in control of him. he tries to get along with her for his kids sake but she wants scorp to be miserable in his life. There is always drama with his virgo ex. When they were married they both were cheating on each other, although he did cheat first. he tried to make it work with her but she wasn't good for him, they brought out the worst in each other.
Dang Zen i've never seen a scorpio in fear, did the virgo ever let him go?
My scorp said before he married his ex virgo she cut up his basketball jersey,.. I'm thinking "and you still married her?" 16 years later she's still out to get him. Mayb Brahn was right in that sense that it doesnt work. But i only know of one scorp/virgo relationshop.
Dang Zen i've never seen a scorpio in fear, did the virgo ever let him go?
lol... weeeeeeeelllllllllllllll, she did...after intervention...of family members, police, restraining order, stabbing him in the neck with a pen, laying under his car in hopes to be run over, ripping his jacket and many more...those are the ones I can remember...
And she still wouldn't let him go (in fact she said no one could stand in the way of her love and threatened all his friends/family and even future ones he had never met ! yup) and he didn't do much to extricate himself to be honest...
I realised then how Virgo taking care/remembering of details could help them notice things every one else ignores and USE the details if they wished !
I swear, Scorps attract so much drama it's unbelieveable
I remember one night, the virgo stood outside screaming outside the scorp's house - the neighbours called the police and the police came over and had to call for back up from all the screeching...then they say to the scorp, maybe we should arrest her, he says 'nah, it's cool' then one of the cops say, 'hang on, isn't this the same place we came to because she stabbed you in the neck lol ...W000000000000T—!
Well, if scorp and virg can dish out so much drama, then maybe they're perfect for the other? 🙂 lol
this is only from one though experience though...hehe
Look at how she treats people. Does she treat a king and a janitor with the same respect?? Does she have loyal friends that she has had for years and years? How does she talk about her exes?? Is it with venom? If so stay away.
hahaha dcv, that's the ones I could remember - long winded - anyways, don't think virgos are emotional creatures to torture emotionally...but I think they kind of know what you really want in materialistic terms most times...
he was insecure I think, she just found a way to chip at it by buying him stuff and everytime they had an issue, it was "I got this for you, I bought that, etc"...before the love declarations 😢 he bought the crap...
It means nothing. Virgos are much more likely to cut you loose than stalk you.
This Scorpio Drama verbiage is hogwash. I've never seen dramam in my Scorp Brother, Daughter, or Wife. If they're upset, it's genuine, and they're gonna express it.
Cyber, your ex-wife sounds like a psycho. My Libra ex-wife was a major drama queen, and that got on my nerves, but she never made me feel in danger!
FYI: I'm a Virg with Scorpio Rising and a Taurus Moon. Analytical, Intense, and Stubborn as hell -- what a great combination!!
Yeah, we have more than a few Scorpio + Virgo couples on DXP, and I've seen some similarities between them.
Some astrologers say that Virgo Man is drawn to and obsesses over Scorpio Woman. I can vouch for it. But even if we parted, I wouldn't stalk her. That would be illogical...
I wasn't. I was commenting on comments in this thread. When I'm addressing a particular poster, I start my post / paragraph like I did this one - NAME ...
But I also recognize that the handful of people that I know , and you know put together is not enough of a control factor for a behavioral experiment of a group numbering in the millions.
True. Which is why I always try to say "in my experience," when I'm offering my opinions / insights based on personal observations, versus what the astrologers say.
I thought this was a forum to learn about each other, not to bash the signs of those who have pissed us off, or ram our viewpoints down each others' throats.
The forum is what we make of it. Like you, I would hope it's a place to share ideas and experiences without retribution - and do so honestly...
You're new to DXP. I've been on here since March 2006. Don't participate as much as I used to, with Twin baby Scorps in the house, which is another reason for my brief bullet statements -- but no Drive By is intended towards you, or anyone else...
Just some food for thought: This is an astrology web site, so if we don't use some generalizations about the Signs, where's our common point of reference?? Not all stereotypes are negative, or biased, or intentionally hurtful...
EXAMPLE: Some posters call Virgos emotionless robots. Not based on what the experts say, but on their own experiences. I don't see anything wrong with challenging their opinions. But if a poster wants to explore the WHY of Virgo reticence, I'm cool with it...
Exchanging ideas should be the point - not exchanging insults.
We've had some interesting - and spirited!! - debates on this site. Which is one of the big reasons I keep coming back here...
These two can hit it off very well together. But it can just as easily be a total disaster. Scorpios generally tend to hide their emotions and their true feelings and intentions from people but what they dont realize is that Virgos and many Geminis can clearly see through the scorpio. Their pokerface technique works well with others but not with these two signs. Virgos make the mistake that scorpio is the really nice and a complete pushover but are shocked to find that these people can fend for themselves and actually posses the same strenght and integrity that Virgos think only they have. In terms of sexual compatibility, scorpios are considered to be very sexually deep however only with a virgo can they reach the highest peaks and the lowest crests of sexual passion. Virgos too enjoy the best sexual compatibility with scorpios (and capricorns). This is a really strong karmic bond.
"jealousy" Between these two jealousy is rarely the problem. Infact i dont beleive it would ever really come up at all. Virgos are generally not prone to the GREEN EYE. Scorpios on the other hand never seem to get jealous around virgos, especially if that virgo is a love interest and happens to be in a steady relationship with scorpio. Unless there is infidelity involved which almost never happens in the case of these two jealousy is never an issue. CONTROL this on the other hand is a big issue in every Scorpio Virgo relationship not just romantic ones. This is because both of them need to have control over matters in their life to be truly comfortable.
"But you are saying that what, Scorps are not usually jealous, or that they are not normally jealous in a virgo relationship?"
Not denying that scorpios are jealous just that it doesnt come up with the virgos. Generally these two signs consider eachother's success as their own and are for the most happy for eachother.
Cyber: Jealousy was the one constant in our marriage.
Same here. My Scorp is not insanely jealous, but she doesn't like it when ladies get too friendly with me. Otherwise, she's one of the calmest women I've ever been with, and it takes a lot to get her riled at me...
But, sometimes I can't help myself. I'm stubborn as hell, and if I'm determined to make a point, I will -- even though I know full well I'm gonna get stung for it.
Avalan: Generally these two signs consider eachother's success as their own and are for the most happy for eachother.
One astrologer called Scorpio + Virgo the Mutual Admiration Society. I've experienced some of that - I admired Debra at work long before I wanted her as my life mate, and she felt the same way about me. The more we learned about each other, the more we admired each other.
Physically, we're polar opposites. Mentally, we have many different interests, but we're interested in what the other enjoys. Emotionally - well, hell! She's a Scorp, so there's an emotional element to EVERYTHING. I'm a Virgo, and my dry wit can parch a tropical rain forest of feeling. And yet, we get each other, and we complete each other, and it is nothing short of a miracle to me. Something I never expected at this point in my life...
CancerKitten started this thread with: I was just wondering if any of you have experience of a virgo/scorpio relationship and how well they work.
I think there's enough evidence to say that it can work very well. For some of us Virgos, it may be the best match we'll ever make.
Avalan: Not denying that scorpios are jealous just that it doesnt come up with the virgos.
I would say that Virgo is one sign that won't try to make a Scorp jealous. We don't play games like some do to get attention, or reassurance that we're still attractive / desirable to our lovers.
Scorp-in-law: DyarStraBe: ?FYI: I'm a Virg with Scorpio Rising and a Taurus Moon.?
Holy Trinity Batman! Besides being my favorite 3 signs, you've got some major potency working in your behalf.
All three of these signs share a lot of common traits.
Just to make it more complicated: I'm a Virgo/Libra Cusp (a Virg by just 8 hours on 22 SEP!), and my Scorp is just 2 days from being a SAG. Yikes! There are times when I'm very un-Virgo, and she's very un-Scorpio... but, that may work in our favor, too!!
I'm a Scorpio guy, who just got done obsessing over a Cancerian girl. I'd go more into that, but I just don't really care anymore, and, anyway, in the nick of time, I met a Virgo girl. I'm really taken. There was no "game". She was really up front in that she liked me, but she didn't want to give me her number because "[she] had problems in the past with that". It was a let down, and my voice quavered showing it, but she wanted me to contact her on MySpace, and she's been real slow to respond, but she does eventually. I'm 20 in a couple days and yet I've only liked a few girls in my life, such that I've never been in a relationship because I selfishly would pine after girls that were not good for me.
I heard from her friend that she thinks I'm really cute. I usually don't hear anything like that about myself because people think I look threatening. Anyway, we live in different cities (2 hrs away), but coincidentally I'm going to move near her. I'm thinking, maybe she's being realistic about this; she doesn't know that I'm moving.
She's rather traditional, rather rational, and so on. I really like that. I've never liked a even a decent person before because I usually hate myself, but I've just been... I'm really blown away.
Is there any general advice anyone here could give? I actually feel like my weaknesses aren't activated near her (which seems to be what I'm reading in this thread), so things will go fine. But I don't know for sure. I really really really really need confirmation. We're so compatible, it's ridiculous. I was always waiting for this to happen to me. Good or bad, my life is geared towards finding someone like her, and just loving them.
I lied to her, about my costume, when we met. Well, I was tricky about it, but it was a fucking lie. Not really important, but... I don't want to lie to her.
Never lie to a virgo. They absolutely despise it. She'll forgive it once, if it was something trivial like your costume and the fact that you only just met her.
Besides that, just be the loving companion that you have always wanted to be (and know you can be). Don't allow insecurity to ruin it. Be the best person that you can be, it's all that anyone can do really...I hope it works out for you 🙂
I don't know if she wants to talk to me anymore, in that, she hasn't 😢 Unfortunately our mutual friends aren't friends anymore so... I kind of have no reason to ever see her again.
When you get a chance, could you contribute to my "Scorpios & Virgos - Let's Vote!!" thread on the Relationships & Astrology Board?? You're in the rarer Virgo Female + Scorpio Male couples here on DXP, and I'd like to hear your side of things...
I am a Scorpio woman. I was engaged to a Virgo and we spent 3 years together. I don't know much about astrology but I will try to share my opinion the best I can. Begining was great, we would spend lot of time together...which for me was great I loved attention from him. We were really open about how we felt towards one another. Within 3 months I knew I loved him and vice versa. We clicked very well, I was able to trust him. We were great in bed 🙂). From experience Virgos I known (my mom, sister, ex-fiance) at times were very selfish. In my fiance's case after a while he would want to see me less and less. Of course my jealous and possesive nature took over so I started wondering why, and slowly pushed myself away. I started questioning his dedication to me, and when we talked about it he promised he would change. After that two years passed and we were at the same place. Barely seeing each other until I realized I couldnt deal with the lack of his emotional involvement with me. Initially this is a great potential for marriage like someone mentioned you just have to keep up with it and not abandon your partner. Everything aside we understood eachother very well. My Virgo needed a lot of pushing to accomplish his goals, and I was the one comfortable being in charge. They do have a temper so a scorpio needs to be able to tone their judgement sometimes 😉 and be understanding. In the end I felt like I might have demanded too much and he couldnt keep up with my burst of emotions and constant need for love and passion.
Anyways.... I ll stop with my life story 🙂 I hope it helps someone. This can work as long as both are open with eachother and learn how to fill one anothers needs.
I'm an Australian Scorpio girl and there's an Mexican Virgo man in my life.
The first time we met, we were both travellers in japan and met at the place we where both temporarily staying at. We hit it off straight away, got intimate, and were pretty much inseparable from day 1. We had only spent a week together but we felt SO comfortable with each other and I even teared up when I had to go back to Australia. We kept in touch via email for the next 6 months, and it was torture for me! I thought about him EVERY single day, and wondered why I was so infatuated with a boy who I only spent a week with. But I just KNEW he was perfect for me. Around 6 months after that first encounter I spontaneously bought a ticket to Mexico, despite all fears of me being the chaser, the weaker one (something i LOATHE) and spent a week with him and his family, and all fears of things not being like they were in japan were gone. It was perfect.. if not more than perfect.
And now, he's moved to Australia for nearly a year...
We're following each other around the world, and although we've spent such a short amount of time together, (2 weeks physically!), we are so certain about things that we're able to take drastic measures to just be together. It's strange. Theres the strongest, deepest connection between the Virgo and the Scorpio..
Wow. I can relate. I am in long distance relationship with my virgo man. I don't know what hell is going on? I can't recall every feeling like this.
We travel too, we F---- like crazy, and we exchange witty banter! Not only that we see eye to eye on pretty much everything. My biggest issue has been trust. Since, my virgo man used to be a womanizer. Us scorpios don't like vunerability and leaving ourselves open to get hurt.
He has amazing patience and tolerance for me. Tells me how he feels everyday. 🙂 funny, my virgo told me many months ago that he was boring. Lol I fail to see that til this day. he is far from boring. Virgos and scorpios can work, if both parties are mature and want it bad enough.
I have a very close friend whose a Virgo and hes very cautious and I've never known him to rush into anything but he met this scorpio girl (who I dislike but I'll not go into that now)and he just told me they got engaged but they've only been together a f

I am a scorpio woman interested in a virgo man. We seem to get on well so far, and I feel intrigued by him. I do notice he analyzes EVERYTHING , and is very particular about who he gets close to. He seems to want to always give me advice , and I guess
A lot is said about Scorpio and Virgo doing well together... I'm not surprised.. The reason is that they are so much alike. Both are SELFISH to the extreme.. They play people like a chess game.. They think life is a game as long as they are WINNING.. The
I am a gay male Virgo, I have a great deal of female energy and have no problems geting even straight men to fall for me. All my lovers have crossed into the gay/bi world to be with me. I dont think this is special just peole likeother peole. My problem i
I'm told that us virgos are friendly to scorpions. But how friendly ? Which brings me to another question. What's the info on a Virgo guy-Scorpio girl? SOMEONE CLUE ME IN !!
Hi everyone. I've been reading threads on this site for a while now. There are a lot of posts to do with relationships on this board and I would greatly appreciate the insight of others in regards to my current dilemma. I am a Scorpio and the 'relati
I am a Virgo woman enthralled with a Scorpio man. We are the same age, and have known each other for 7 years as friends. We were in the same "friends group" He was married at the time. I never thought I would be interested in him other than an acquaint
"Sure, but that's because she's your WIFE. She should come first!"
She was my Lover long before she was my Wife. It was a true then as it is now.
"Most people would agree that their friends come first or are equally important."
NO Virgo I know would ever say or think that. We marry our best friends (of the opposite sex, usually!).
