Scorpio man and Cancer woman: we don't talk anymore. Should I text him about this?

I dated this guy for a bit, he strung me a long for months and things ended when he said he's not ready to date and wants to be good friends. During those months, he made rude and insensitive comments sometimes. We were friends before we dated so I wouldn't mind being friends with him but I said no for a number of reasons.

We haven't really spoken for 2 months. We barely say Hi to each other... Sometimes he's VERY cold with me when says anything to me.. feels like he really hates me (maybe because it seems like i didn't care about him because it looked like I easily cut him off)

Today, a friend invited me to lunch with a few people and he was one of them. He mentioned that he was going to start therapy tomorrow. I remember him telling me about things he was struggling with (the reason he wasn't ready to date) and his emotional detachment issues. Even though I feel really hurt by him, I still care about him lot and was thinking of texting him about it. Just something encouraging and supportive.

I just don't know if that's a good idea or how he'll take it. Also, if I do text him, not sure what exactly I would say.

Tell him the truth...if you're really looking to just send encouraging words his response or non response shouldn't really be an issue.

Let him know you're thinking about him and know he's going through a rough time and he'll get through it.

You can also let him know if he needs some one to talk to you're here for him. (Optional)

Yeah, move along...you're not going to get what you're looking for from him. Also, i'm confused...this guy owes you an apology for being a dick at the very least...and you want to reach out and make him feel better? Because he's having a "hard time"? Have some self respect, and stop being a fucking doormat for this douche

He apologized for stringing me along but not for the comments because I never told him i was upset. He can't apologize when he doesn't know what he did.

that's even worse...because now it's not just his fault, but yours as well.

Move on..let him deal with his own bullshit by himself. I believe you are the cancer..one thing a cancer try to do is make peace and fix things . Even when ending shit ,cancers need a well solution. Water sign is very intuitive they know when they fuck up the big line is owning up to it. He fuck up with you so keep him at a far and allow him to deal with his own work that need to be done.
