i am a capricorn. my ex is a scorpio. i get these overwhelming feelings of him on occasion. a lot actually. i've had experiences where these come over me, and within minutes i get a tm from him. the other day, i was so overcome with emotion about him. i was leaving work, and there was his car. (he used to work here too) i didn't try to find him. i felt to emotional. does anyone think this means anything? are we still connected so much.. i won't go to him anymore. i think if he wants me, he must come to me. it's just these feelings are so strong and deep, i usually end up crying for want of him. i know all about the scorpio sting and poison that's left in the system. i've read everything on here. some people have heard my story too. i was just wondering if anyone has gone through this kind of thing. we have not been together for about a month now, physically. as a true couple, it's been over a year.
telepathy
who the h--- are you? professor know it all? coencidence doesn't happen over and over concerning the same issue with the same person about the same other person. coencidence is random. does anyone else with a brain have a response to this?
i didn't say it because i didn't like it, i said it because you're wrong, rude, and full of yourself. there is also enough proof that it does exist. and you know what they say about the person who thinks he knows everything.....he knows nothing. you do have the right to your opinion though. if you would take the rudeness out of it, i might consider you human. as of now, you are an a--hole. you know nothing of my experiences. you only seem to know what is in a book. that is not experience. may god save your soul.
Oh boy! Hi Pato and hello to Brahn - I think you are both right. Funny thing about our thoughts and life...we create what we believe by our thoughts and this IS the reality of it all. So, B - you believe that there is no telepathic powers - only coinsidences. If this is truly what you believe than this is what you will experience - so you are correct. Pato, you believe that there are telepathic powers because you have experienced them and you are correct. Anyone see the movie, Peter Pan? You only need to BELIEVE and it will happen. This is the power of our mind that many people for some reason put a limit on....when it comes to the mind - there are NO limits only infinate possibilties and thankfully so! 🙂
I personally believe in miracles, that everything happens for a reason and it is usually a good reason (I am one of those yes..very optimistic Aries!) I have had the wonderful opportunity to experience many miracles so yes, they do exist and so does telepathic powers.
It's is really very cool to have an open mind while visiting planet Earth because anything and everything can happen here...thoughts are things, make sure they are good ones!
Shakespeare said it well when he said, "There is nothing good or bad, but thinking makes it so."
Pato, I was talking with friend last night who for many years kept thinking of a male friend that she was deeply in love with....she was unable to let go of her thoughts of him and those thoughts began to take over her life, her emotions - they were holding her captive. She was constantly in pain, imobilized, not living in the moment or appreciating the friends around her and they began to disappear. She finally realized that she was in control of her thoughts and if her life was to change is was up to her to change her thoughts about the man she could not have. It took her awhile to go through the process but she did it and is doing much better. This was her personal lesson in learning about the power of her mind. Not sure if this will help...I wish you the best - Can you both still be friends?

Freebird...I wish you were a guy. I'm a female leo and you and I would be purrfect together! Plato, I agree with freebird AND I agree with you. Astrologically speaking, I would check out your moon sign...if it's in Capricorn, that could be one of the reasons why you "feel" him so much. Realistically speaking, I do believe in telepathy. There are certain "coincedences," but when you can finish someone's sentences, feel a person's presence in your dreams, or think of someone and have them contact you at that moment...on more than one occassion...that's telepathy! I know, I've had the same experiences and with only one other person. But as Freebird said, only you can control your own thoughts and feelings. The fact that you have this connection with the other person is great, and one that you might not ever have with someone else. But you are in control, and can't allow your passions to take control of you. Be greatful that you are this intuitive, and put it to positive use.
sorry, plato...what i meant to say is that if your moon sign is in SCORPIO, that could be why you "feel" him so much.
thanks freebird, etc.
truthseeker, my moon is in taurus, with a venus in scorpio. he is a scorp, with a moon in aquarius, and venus in scorpio.
i know what you're saying about the mind making things happen, but i don't think that having these strong feelings, then walking out of the building, and seeing he was here, is my mind making that happen. i must have a pretty strong mind to arrange all of that in mere minutes.
i will let these feelings happen, i just won't act on them anymore.
thank you all for listening.

Pato I understand what you're saying. Be it telepathy or whatever it may be, something more than mere coincidence does exist. I'm not the person to look into these things but I say it because it happens to me too. I don't think it's anything unnatural... just is what it is.
Thought of a person very suddenly hits you, even people who you haven't known about or thought about and next thing they're infront of you.
For example a thought will suddenly come to me and it really does happen.
Or parts of a dream too, for example one time I had dream that this guy who I hadn't talked to in months called me and asked me how I was and if I was still with someone and he then told me that he was still waiting for me. The moment I woke up my phone rang and it was him and he told me what he had told me in my dream. It happened the other day too with a friend. How can things like this be coincidences? They're not thoughts but sudden feelings.

"may god save your soul."
Just a question about the above statement that im just wondering why so do many catholics always say that.If god is the only being to judge someone on that, why do most catholics get on a high horse and say things like that(everybodies going to hell if they don't go to church every sunday and such)? It kinda contradicts what they supposedly believe in as god being the only alfa and omego. Some could say it's because god is in everyone but that would also mean god is in the person whos supposedly going to hell too,so whats the catch or is it just another contradiction to suit them at that moment as usual?God should be okay with this being questioned as he did instill humans with free will and intelligence that had nothing to do with no snake and apple either.Curious.

Well actually most major religions that holds a good(holy) and bad(evil) attonement to them.
what i was feeling when i said that about saving his soul, was really that i felt that he had no soul. he was cold, ice cold, and he should get in touch with his soul, his heart.
it just came out that way, about god. maybe that was my strict cathlic grandfather coming out.

The thing is in such a materialistic world, everything that doesn't have an apparent use or the ability to reap some awesome profit is discredited.. hardline science can kiss my ass - most scientists work for the people who PAY them... nothing else is really taken into account these days -- Science can't even prove its own theories so how can they attack something just because it has no tangible "proof/facts"... (yet)—
Anyway it's obvious Pato you guys have some kind of special connection since you feel so intensely.. it could be a little one sided but even so this doesn't mean just because you can't explain the feelings or occurance rationally they don't exist!

Neither am I chucking an "ad Hominem".. this is not a personal attack.. When will people open their damn minds—
"Some people just are too full of themselves"... ad Hominem hypocrite you are Brahn.
love is a serious mental illness.....how can someone worship someone who has enough issues to fill a filing cabinet ? it happens and you could travel the world ten times and never find it.
i've had fine, sane, productive women with good sex and never fell in love,it's unexplainable and psycic/physical chemistry plays a big part.
pato you are/were in love and that is the highest state a human being can be in. unfortunately it's not always mutual and for some people it's frightenly confining thus they'll run from it or in my case if it's destructive they'll kill the relationship no matter how much it hurts. such is life

Telepathy is some self-serving nonsense that is only valid if someone is the "Center of the universe".. for starters the universe is more intricate than you give it credit for .... "I open up my mind after I open up a book. Books contains these weird things called facts.".. Fact are things that are proven by people in authority more often than not... these people rely on "objective thought".. "rationality" etc etc in eastern sects these things do not carry as much weight as in out own western society... does this mean that the whole Eastern culture is void of any truth—
"I want to look at"? Alot of things ... unlike some people I enjoy reading and taking concepts in... not just discarding them as rubbish Brahn. possibly deceiving myself -- what about when the world was flat were we all deluded crack pots when we had the audacity to even imagine we lived on this sphere??
..."Hippies, psuedo intellectual, new age people, with a anti-capitalist/socialist agenda." ...You know social/economic systems only last so long... are you saying you are a capitalistic diehard?? LOL! Everything has it's used by date in this world ... even you Brahn... I am not pretending to be anything I am not either.. I am just voicing an opinion.. if that is too much for you, please sit down.
As for the second paragraph.. Have you studie this phenomenon your whole life— Do you know for sure they are disparate? Is not flesh and blood matter?? For example.. I have read many account of how the phases of the moon effect crime; (lunacy -- derived from the word lunar).
"...and the mind is in no way a part of reality itself." Without the mind how can "reality" even be judged at all Brahn—
Another thing? "To believe communication is anything beyond that is just an excercise in futility." Communicating on a verbal level is VERY subjective.
You say there is no unspoken communication -- so then how do you explain the occurrence of dreams, not only that but seemingly "prophetic" ones??
Brahn esotericism is an art one of which some of us can decipher and some not...

But essentially it's your loss, closing your mind only limits a life experience call me a hippy if you will 🙂 and thank you for your comment on my Pisces male Dilemma btw.
... last thought, people operate on different levels too, be it rational, instinctual or intuitive etc. So something that may make sense to me may not to you and vice versa. But really, I'm done clogging up this poor girls thread. later.
juno,
thanks for supporting me (in your way) to this tunnel-visioned person brahn, but on your last post, the comment that i am a poor girl didn't ring true. i am in no way a poor girl because of these occurances. i feel i am blessed with the capacity to "feel", and "sense" beyond this moment, but knowing that what is to occur, and that it's going to be painful, is mighty stressful. i got emotional about this instance because, yes, i was in love with him, but these occurances have happened other times, with other instances, and other people. i just mentioned this one, wondering if anyone else experiences these things like i do. i've had these experiences where the outcome was wonderful, and joyful also.

Pato-
I read your post also on the Capricorn board to ScorpionLady's thread. I am going through the same stuff. I'm a Capricorn and have had this same type of off/on relationship w/ a Cap. male. I also recently had a "run-in", chance meeting w/ him that I had a foreshadowing of in my mind. I won't go into detail but my take on it is that it's the universe at work... It was far more than coincidence, and perhaps not telepathy, but it was a "fated" meeting to allow an opportunity for you to observe or learn something.
I've posted alot on the bridgettwalthers site about these type of relationships and these kind of guys. (Look under Capricorn board-) I believe that you're dealing with a commitmentphobic male, as is ScorpionLady. It's not a "Capricorn" thing, or a "Scorpio" thing as women like to try to understand it and rationalize behavior through astrology. (I'm one of them!) The disappearing, being unavailable/unreachable, and the inability to commit to "yes" OR TO "NO" are clear signs of a guy with commitment issues. And it's this lack of closure, and the push/pull of the relationship that has caused these intense feelings. Read, "He's Scared, She's Scared" (Carter)-- "Men Who Can't Love" (same author). Or go to commitment-phobia.com and to the forum or stories/articles there.

branh0193, that was a bit harsh. Even though you don't agree with pato, there is no reason to intellectualise it. Afterall, we all have our own experiences, whether objective or subjective. What does it matter if "telepathy" exists or not? Surely, it's the experience of another human being that counts? And surely we should be open and offer sympathy or empathy or whatever is required if it is another human being that is suffering? Where did intellectualising ever get anyone? Usually these people die of brain cancer or other related illnesses due to over-use of the cranium.
I am going to throw my two cents in on the subject...
The human brain stores a lot of data, some of which we are consciously aware of, and a lot that we are not. This data that we are unconscious of, can surface, given the right stimulus. This could explain why a person calls when we are thinking of them. Our subconscious has stored the data from our experiences with them to know their habits. Thus we will think of them at a time that our subconscious cues us to, and when the habit would be for them to pick up a phone. You think, and they call. It's not a mystical thing really. The more we know about this person and the more we think about them, the more likely this would happen. The same can be said for speech patterns and "finishing each other's sentences". The data has all been stored, therefore the event happens. It is just the capacity of the human mind to store an incredible amount of information, and not a psychic phenomenon at all. Our senses take in everything, but our brains only allow us to focus on what we need to for the task at hand, otherwise we would be completely overwhelmed. However everything that is taken in through our eyes, ears and other sense organs, is stored. Accessing it is the tricky bit, and sometimes our brains access this information without our conscious decision, and sometimes a conscious decision to recall this information fails. Deja vu can be explained by the senses ability to relay information to the brain faster than the brain can process it. The result is a feeling that you have "been there before" when actually you haven't. Your brain just had a temporary moment of laziness.
So these experiences are real, but the reason they occur is not mysterious at all. Lots of research has gone into backing this up.
