It's true, Virgos can be gullible, give it some time before you let people in and emotionally invest in them.
I don't think its easy to change your nature, but you can do other stuff and use some edgy tactics to not let it get in the way.
just dont hate yourself for it or feel sorry for yourself, It's never one person' fault but two. own up to it and view it as an experience.
for the scorpio-virgo thing, I've been lucky enough to have pretty awesome scorpios in my life. I met few horrible ones but I didn't let them in. learn how to look at situations from a 3rd person point of view, take words and actions into consideration, give 2nd chances but make sure you always put yourself first.

That is pretty much Scorpio in a nutshell, and doesn't sound at all like someone Aqua would care to relate to, since Aqua is fond of people being self-accountible.

You know, I think Scorpios have the potential to be one of the best zodiac signs. I really do. Sadly, all the above prevents that from happening. It wouldn't be so bad if Scorpios didn't frequently inflict (or project) their shit onto others.
What's most annoying, though, is that wasted potential to enrich the lives of themselves and others, BUT more on a long-term basis. Just because you have a stinger, doesn't mean you have to use it with wild abandon. Unfortunately, many of you do.
And as for needing to control and manipulate others to compensate for your own insecurities...
I guess it's just one of those cases of close but no cigar.
I think that just sounds like an unhappy person/individual. they sting but only if they are unhappy. they are stinging because of something they are unhappy in their lives with. the long-suffering of it. Not all of them are like this. A scorpionic person/individual who is gonna sting and project their unhappiness is because they don't like their life and holds it in.

I've been single for 9 years, celibate for 7 of those years. I'm not sure where the idea came from that I've had a succession of relationships. I am sorry that this person hurt you, but I believe we allow people to enter our lives to learn a lesson. And, once we've learned that lesson, only then can we move on.
On finding another scorpio, or another partner:

If you work a bit at maturing your mind and spirit, you will find a partner with a kinder soul and the lessons that you will need to be learn will be a little more tolerable and less heart breaking.

on the other hand, with actual serious matters that are extremely important and even life altering, perhaps devastating, I tend to handle with an almost robotic personality and can be quite stoic.

Try basing your actions on how others make you feel.... If they make you hurt cry etc... Unless you like that feeling it should be obvious what your decision should be.... The other person's actions .... I would be concerned about the reaction from myself...how is that? People tend to reflect things we may need to heal inside ... This is life period .... Change the reflection is what I say if you don't like what you see
