When you guys really deeply love someone, what are you like? (Page 2)

I tend to prioritize that person and the relationship, even almost losing myself in the process. It’s such a subconscious thing though, I don’t even realize I’m doing it. But since I’ve realized that I do this, it’s something that I’m working on.


I don’t get too crazy or possessive, I don’t do stalking.. but I imagine it’s still unhealthy because it puts a burden on that person since they essentially become the center of my universe. I need to learn to balance my passions and pursue others interests/hobbies instead of falling head over heels and becoming consumed in love. I get tunnel vision in love. Tunnel vision works well with reaching career goals but not in love and relationships. Lol

Definitely important to keep your personality and own hobbies and passions going! 🤗 nothing wrong with being head over heels in love, but yes, there's a healthy balance of love with your own passions and hobbies and everything else 🙂

I don’t think it’s god help the other person

The torture is to ourselves! I’ll poker face in reign in as to not scare the poor guy but internally it’s torture having to wait knowing how you already know how you feel about the person. The get the best attention, consideration n are treated like kings lol

This is how I am. I have Scorpio Mars in my 5th house so I guess that’s where I get it from. He’s a Capricorn ascendent, Scorpio sun, moon, Venus, Sagittarius mercury, and Libra Mars 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 So hard to hold back and just enjoy the journey. I know what I want now I’m all go, go, go!

Omg our Scorp guy has almost the same placements 😂 the only thing different is my guy has Scorpio Mercury too haha how do you handle your Scorpio? What's he like? I'd love to know if it causes a similar personality.

My guy describes himself as a walking contradiction that is still doing his best to understand himself. I think his Capricorn Rising and Scorpio Moon have him not show his emotions so openly, especially in public. He's a very deadpan looking, chill guy, but there's times where he can be super soft, smiley and affectionate too. Is yours like that too?

Yes, he’s very much the strong silent type. Stoic is the perfect word. He’s hilarious with a dark sense of humor, when he does show his soft side—it’s fucking adorable! We are getting to know each other again after a long time apart and we’ve both grown a lot. I’m learning to be present and enjoy the journey, and he’s learning to harness his power and make boundaries. I do think he’s very intense tho, brooding too. When we first locked eyes it was like lightning and we couldn’t keep our eyes off of each other…. Then our hands lol he’s the sweetest guy I’ve ever dated, very concerned about my feelings which is a huge change from what I’m used to. But he’s doesn’t readily talk about feelings unless they are positive. He tries to hide his darkness but I hope he doesn’t think he has to on my accord. I’m happy to love him back to the light!

I’m in a relationship with a Scorpio guy with a Mars in Leo and Scorpio Venus.

He’s not very emotional at all. Very chill, super supportive and an absolute sweetheart but he’s not talkative when it comes to emotions. He shows them with touch and service related tasks.

He said before he had issues in the past with women not believing he liked the because he’s so stoic.

But I have the same Leo mars and Scorpio Venus and act the same way, men haven’t been able to tell if I like them either so I get where he’s coming from.

In our own ways we show things that don’t need to be said. He doesn’t bug me in the usual way that guys from my past have, he doesn’t need to hear words of love or affection. I’m showy without saying things too.

But I don’t see any intensity at all. I’m starting to think Scorpios just think they are too much.

Maybe it gets triggered when they are upset, IDK.

I haven’t even seen my boyfriend mad yet and it’s been almost a year.

He asks questions to see where my head is at. But he is very emotionally detached in the same way I am and I like it because it’s comfortable for someone to understand me without complaining about it.

You know what, that's amazing. I think you guys are actually like my Scorpio guy. Cause I don't find him that obsessive or intense like the Internet says (probably cause it's the right amount of "intensity" for me and I'm just as "intense" so I don't really see it). So I got pretty confused. And I think he's pretty stoic but sweet and chill just like yours too, but mine doesn't really initiate communicating about emotions much because his mother didn't really let him be comfortably emotionally open growing up. And I find at the moment, I'm having to be the one to initiate and drive the conversation about emotions/being open about them and solving emotional/behavioural issues. But it's okay cause he's able to engage and eventually open up about his own feelings about the issue. And I do my best to notice every way he helps me physically in order to see his acts of love 😊


Yes likewise, previous partners have complained to my Scorp and become upset about him not acting very emotional when they've given him a present. But for me, I don't mind it as long as you say and show that you appreciate it 🤗 and I've made him aware that he doesn't need to act up anything whenever I gift him something.

I do notice when my Scorpio is jealous/a bit possessive on the inside, however, so I've now minimised talking about other guys or guy friends to as infrequent as possible.

I don't feel the need to even have these types of conversations, so I'm not sure what he thinks of me not bringing this up. I'm not one for emotional words anyways, so I wouldn't even know where to start.

I'm not sure, some show it, some don't like any of us. I'm conflict avoidant, so I try to keep the peace and rarely argue about things.

I haven't noticed any jealousy at all because I am usually very aware of respecting my partner by not even paying attention to other men in my presence.

I have a question to ask you cause I think our Scorpio guys are pretty similar, but I was wondering if you ever experience this. At home, my Scorpio guy is soft, more playful, affectionate and warm. Outside in public, he has a stoic expression and energy, less emotional, doesn't show softness or much affection (except holding hands and he lets me kiss him randomly but never him to me or we kiss goodbye in public). It's like he puts on a rock faced, stoic front when we're in public and he knows there's others around. I suppose it says he feels safe and comfortable to be his vulnerable soft self with me inside closed doors.

I guess that's the personality of a Scorpio. Tsundere.

He could just be a private person.

Scorpios are very aware of their surroundings and have a protective way about them, making sure that you are safe. He could just be more present in what's going on outside and paying attention to his surroundings and not so focus on PDA. He may think of his home as his comfort area and he knows it's a safe space, so he can relax more and do what he wants.

How do you pay attention to all this? Especially if he's not shooing you away. Must be the Virgo in you and the need to break things down to understand them.
