Fixed signs largely come across as stubborn and inflexible. They actually don't want to try anything new from my experience.

This is why I couldn't understand how a Cardinal sign like Cancer could work with a fixed sign like Scorpio.
Contrary to popular belief, it's the cardinal signs that don't want to try anything new, and are discriminatory to people who have the same attitudes and behaviors as them. When was the last time a cancer or a cap thought of something innovative and passionate? I'm sorry, they stay glued to their cave. Including Aries. Libra is an exception cause it's an air sign and very definition of air is free flowing, they think outside the box.

What are you talking about?? All the cardinal signs I know are on the move, doing stuff. I have lived in 6 countries, care to run that cave nonsense by me again?

That's an oxymoron right there.

Only as an adjective. You take a fixed sign to mean white glued on rice, permanently stuck and that is simply not true. You're Astro stereotyping. And when I flipped it back on you, you got mad, unwilling to even entertained a different idea, which actually proves the point of my original post.
You didn't post any alternative ideas, you just decided to feud with me. If and when you come up with a new idea, I will be the first in line to acknowledge it.

Btw, I am a cap moon as well.

Agree? Disagree? What's your experience?
I don't agree with Aqua, because I've never felt anything BUT a friendly vibe with them. BUT for friendship... most definitely. I have amazing exchange of ideas with them and I really respect their intelligence and their out-of-the-box perspective. I find it very stimulating and there is always an explosion of ideas being thrown out.

With Leo's: I agree on a romantic level. There is a lot of affection, passion and laughter with this sign for me. I'm not sure if it's because of all the Leo in my chart, but I seem to attract this sign a lot. Even women on friendship level - but I have found that I mostly have a longer-lived friendship when the female is much older or younger than me... if around the same age, I have had them be sneaky and willing to kick me off any type of spotlight that they might find threatening.

Squares require a lot of respect on both ends - but many times that is just VERY easy to do... as there tends to be a lot of admiration as well. We work the same.

The age thing is interesting to me. Were you like that as a child too? Did you notice yourself drawn to older and younger?

oppositions and squares FTW
see? they are not that bad in 'action'......as you are first hand witness to it. the default crap they put on paper is just out of the box and generic. It really comes down to two people and how their energies manifest. there is no sure fire way to predict a good or bad relationship because there isn't two people in this world with the same chart.....therefore 'defaults' do not work. It's collective energy and you can choose to use it anyway that you'd like.

some like 'fixed'....some like 'oppositions'.....some think 'squares' are dreamy........some are very comfortable with 'trines'.......sometimes the 'sextile' does it for them. If we try to put each other in a box.....it simply will not work.
So what if someone has matching planets? How does that normally play out. I have been tring to see how it would be on paper for the fun of it. I have jupiter, staurn, uranus, neptune, pluto the same as another person. I thought it was interesting.

After a while, I get tired of walking all over someone.

I grow from challenges.
Those types of people never hold my interest. I like and need a bit of a challenge too.

Your idea of a relationship is either a challenge or walking over someone? Have your ever heard of romance?

Lol. That's not how I meant it. I don't want to walk over anyone, if that happens than I know that isn't someone I want to deal with romantically. I don't want someone that will give into my every whim or let me get away with everything. I need someone that will define boundaries as needed.

Challenge I meant someone that will challenge me to grow. Force me to look at the good/bad of myself. Not saying constant struggles, but someone that will tell me when I am doing/ saying too much, let me know when I am out of line.

I agree all I've ever dated is fixed
Just mutual respect!
I just grabbed this one out of all of the statements...nothing personal. What I want to point out is that you have to know what the Scorp person is looking for. Are they looking for a challenge or do they see people who challenge them as someone who deserves their respect...like Impulsive does. Some Scorps have already had committed or long term relationships that have been challenging and won't go that route again after surviving the pain and separation. I know that my guy doesn't want a relationship full of struggle. It's enough of a challenge to him that I don't readily take his shit verbally or that I physically hit him back when he hits me or that I'll actually go into silent/separation mode when/if he acts up. I stay with him and I'm cooperative, but he doesn't have full access. For some people those small things (done mostly out of SELF respect) is enough. He honestly cannot stand to be with someone who nags, fights on a serious level, or gets offended over what he considers small shit. Astrology is extremely valud, but you have to incorporate values, personal experiences, AND individual personality type into all of that as well. It's not so black and white. That would be TOO easy. Lol

Not all relationships with fixed signs are challenging and hard. It may be and the beginning but as mentioned by someone before - it's mutual respect which equals to a stable, harmonious relationship.

A fixed sign will want to keep the relationship going. Working through the hard times and the good times. I think the fixed signs have a lot in common, that's why we are drawn to each other.

Anyway in astrology, you can't always just look at someone's sun sign :p the rest of the chart is important too.

OP...not sure where you got that from, but Scorpios don't want a deranged, self-punishing, toxic relationship filled with arguments and revenge in order to have some sexy make-up love in bed afterwards. They simply want someone who is stable and steady, not going anywhere - no. matter. what - someone who they know will catch them if they fall or help them heal if they breakdown.

Scorpios know that arguments and heated moments are inevitable, so they need someone who sticks it out with them through thick and thin, not someone who causes for more suffering.

Just my input.
This is the link if you want it. http://scorpioland.org/scorpios-other-fixed-signs/

I wasn't even looking for that subject matter when I came across thr article.

I think most people want stability of some sort, no matter what the sign. What I took from the article was that they just wanted someone with a backbone and could appeal or draw out passion in the relationship. Not constant drama or abuse.
