that actually made me feel kind of bad about posting my ex's pic and saying he looked stupid...i mean, he DID look stupid, but he might be upset if he knew i showed the pic to ppl he didn't know. but then again, i already told him he looked stupid in that pic, and he didn't make me delete it when we broke up, so i guess i shouldn't feel that bad.

and yeah, i agree notso. i HATE that totally fake aesthetic - the really thick eyeliner, fake lashes, super-intense tan, 5 lbs of concealer and eyeshadow...i'm like, robin williams could look like a hot chick if you put THAT much makeup on him, it says nothing about you other than you're trying very desperately...

ew, i don't want to! a lot of makeup makes me sick. i don't mind a little though, and you're right, when i wear a little, it does enhance my features to an extent. i'm so used to the bare look that it looks weird to me though.

i wear a lip gloss by mac, sometimes. ppl tend to already assume i'm wearing eyeliner, so no need for more, lol. sometimes a hint of blush, cuz someone once told me i needed it. haha

scorpioheart, i understand where you're coming from, but i honestly don't think he intended any disrespect whatsoever. it seems to me like he still has nothing but appreciation for her and was joking w/that comment.

i, on the other hand, would deserve the criticism because i was mean about it. and i really do feel kind of bad, but what's done is done and the pic isn't even worth hiding.

me too! sometimes. in the summer i get accused of wearing lipstick when i'm not because my lips have this pinkish tint. i usually just wear some lip balm (chapstick-esque) to keep them soft. i can't really see you needing blush, but then again i haven't seen you in person. i just know people are silly sometimes w/their criticism.

thanks shakaboom...but i don't do it for that reason. i think it's kind of dumb that girls are like expected to wear makeup. if you look fine without it, i don't see any reason to ruin your skin w/it. simple as pie.

it's really a question of ownership. if the person IN the pic cannot claim ownership of it, then they wouldn't be able to dictate where it is displayed or what happens to it.


whether or not it is ethical? well....i see no harm intended here. no nudity/indecent exposure.

it was when i died my hair black, lol. i looked like casper, seriously. everyone kept asking if i was sick, or if there was something i wasn't telling them. offering me that look of concern. lol in my DL's pic, you can barely see my face. mostly just hair and a fur coat. LOL

srsly! idk if you remember, but i posted a pic of my lips and wet hair on here a while ago, to show the contrast in colors. the lips really popped. that was my permanent lipstick color. 😛

i know you know more than the average joe when it comes to photography.

a bit. but still. how do you mess up a cellphone pic? i feel the same way about digital cams most of the time too, point and click. i really admire the photographers who used (or use) the classic 35mm and have the film developed. there's no "cheating" with that. it's true talent.

i get that some people have an "eye" for good photos and some don't. who the hell am i kidding? i'm an ansel adams fanatic, and no one will ever compare to that.
