Cancer/Taurus (cute story)

I met this Taurus/Aries cusp back in February of 2016. He was bartending, and since then our paths have been crossing. Neither of us have ever had this happen before so here is the story... it’s kind of cute, actually.

So I meet him in 2016 bartending and I’m not sure how I ended up with his number. But I did. I texted him that night and stated “hi, it’s (name)” he responded with what’s up. “What are you getting into tonight.” I never responded.

2 years later.......

I go to a restaurant during the day in July to have a late birthday lunch with a friend. I found the bartender to be attractive we are having great conversation and at the end he got my number. He asks have you ever been to this one bar before and I said yes about 2 years ago. Why do you ask? Lol he shows me his phone and he had my number saved with the bar name as my last name. It was the bar we met eachother at.

He texted me maybe an hour later and says it was nice re-meeting eachother again, we should do lunch soon.

Conversation was light and again we fell off.

I started working at this restaurant not far from the one he works but we hadn’t communicated in weeks. About 2 weeks after we opened he was working at the restaurant i was. Just filling in. I said hi and he was like you’re that girl!!! I was like my name is “......” he was like this is 3 times we have ran into eachother now... we have to hang out. We talked a little bit but that was it. He told me he’d text me and he didn’t but i didn’t think anything of it.

2 weeks later (this week) I text him. And Tuesday night after Work I went to have a drink with some friends at the place he works. He was there and after ended up hanging out. Went for a drink and I took him to his car, although he stated I didn’t have to if I didn’t want to, but I wanted to and it actually would’ve been a far walk for him. So I’m glad I did. Anyway, we get to his. I get out to give him a hug, we are talking a little bit and he kisses me. I mean it was totally like a scene from a movie. There was so much passion. He told me I was making him crazy lol well he was really hard. Anyway

We have been communicating pretty much everyday since then. I definitely don’t want to miss a chance with this one. Everything has been so organic and natural with him. When we went out with eachother he kept telling me this was like a fairy tale or a movie. He’s never experienced this before.

Back October we were both working in the same shopping plaza only 2 mins walking distance from eachother. In fact, I was supposed to apply at the job in which he was bartending at. But never went in.

Fate, or just purely a coincidence. I’m not sure, but he’s beautiful. I’m very attracted to him and I think it’s mutual.

Has this ever happened to you? What do you guys think think of this?

Thanks for the response! I’m pretty sure it was just too good to be true.... just a coincidence. Lol umm I haven’t seen him since Tuesday night and well we didn’t really have plans set to hang out but I have tried a few times since then.... like let’s get lunch or wednesday I wanted to see him that evening and each time it’s super delayed responses or an excuse! I never really figured it could be that he’s probably just not interested or talking to someone until last night at my job I was clearing things off the table and was trying to get through the crowd.... it was loud so he couldn’t hear my “excuse me sir” the girl he was with and talking to pushes him to the side and I turned around really quick only to make eye contact for a second. I’m guessing he left shortly after because I didn’t see him again. I was a little embarrassed but it’s all good.

At least it was nice to have experienced crossing paths that many times with someone I never really knew!

What a wonder ful story, I hope there will be a happy end, dont give him up, maybe youll cross paths again.

Awww... yeah I kind of hope there will be a happy end too. But I just don’t know at this point. It’s probably safe to say he isn’t really as interested as I thought he was lol.

So, I texted this Taurus today and said “hey, hey! If you haven’t got plans on Sunday would you like to brunch” his response was “ i just started seeing someone. It kinda happened fast. I appreciate the invite but i have to say no for obvious reasons.”

I felt a little sad but more so, dumb I guess.

I responded to him and said “ I definitely understand. I wish you the best with all of your future endeavors. Take care, (name)......

He responded with “ you too. It was awesome meeting you multiple times.”



Soooo I guess there’s my answer! It just sucks. 😞

I think what sucks about it is just a week ago he was looking forward to getting to know me a little better and now he is seeing someone. That was quick but i guess yeah Taureans are charming. I should have known.

Why so sad? You didn't sound bothered or interested about him for two years, and initially you never replied to him. Suddenly you kiss and you're all into him. It doesn't really sound like he asked you out either, just you chasing him. He was probably dating people or just this girl, which is allowed, and because he'd got to know this girl and obviously likes her he thought it fair to see how it goes. Sounds like you missed the boat this time round but again, you spent two years not being fussed on him so just go back to that. Plus, it might not work out with this girl and then he might ask you out properly.
