She asked me,'Are you dumping me?'

We had a squabble of sorts when we were out after my girlfriend was highly critical of my behaviour and she suddenly asked me this. It was so random and jarring and I explained that just because sometimes it can be frustrating (the relationship) doesn't mean I'll just dump her for a silly reason. It seems like she was worried that I was dumping her? She is a Taurus and I am a Pisces male. We have been together just over 3 months and her birthday is a week from yesterday.

The next day, she grabbed all of her deserts from the fridge and food and took her shirt back, which I felt was super odd at the time when we both left for church on Sunday. So that makes me think she is getting ready to leave the relationship.. or did at the time. Then she didn't sit beside me at my table and seemed upset that I was behaving oddly (I had very bad food poisoning and wasn't myself.)

Later, she was all cuddly at her place and talked about going on a cruise together, so it was a completely different atmosphere. What gives?

This seems to be typical behavior. I know for myself as a Taurus female I'm very hard on myself, I don't typically like drama or confrontation and when it does occur I automatically assume the worse, I think everyone hates me, or my bf is going to leave me Yada yadda. Communication and reassurance is key, and then space and time.

A lot of it stems from insecurity, especially when my feeling are getting deeper or stronger, because I'm TERRIFIED of messing up and losing that person.

The reason she took her stuff back..

Again like I said above fear or maybe she wants to give you some space because she feels she treetrunked up and doesn't wanna ruffle feathers until she is SURE you are still in the relationship.

Communicate is my best advice.

Also my bf has the same bday as your gf 🙂

The last time she refused to talk until 8pm (the whole day) she was distant on the phone and wanted to break up, so I know the seriousness of this.

If her parents are interfering with the relationship so much, why doesn't she simply move in with me already??

perhaps because you've been together for 3 months?

i just want to say, and you might not be aware of this, but you sound very controlling. you're already showing signs of wanting her to distance herself from people in her life.

you sound very anxious and nervous in regards to her behaviour. i can understand that you are quite taken by her but you from what you have posted here, it sounds like you would like to micromanage her if you could.

none of this is healthy.

Sounds like insecurity. I've been there. You give him the opening to back out because you want him to reassure you he's not going anywhere.

She left new carrots apparently (I think) some half eaten corn and beans but took some desserts that were almost finished and a shirt that she left a week ago.

She did leave a hat she won behind but was suggesting I could keep it, if that means anything.

She did start talking to me this afternoon, saying she is having a good day but has a sore throat. I was in a movie so she figured from the lack of a reply that I was busy. Usually I reply as soon as I can.

Yes, surprised she bothered to take the deserts but she later shared them with her parents and I so everything might be okay.

Might have been right before her period as we were intimate last Saturday.

Update: She finally reached out and said hello and said she was "hoping that I was enjoying my night."

Hmm. It looks like she woke up at 6am today and immediately sent me a text saying that she hopes I slept well after I'd wished her a good night. I responded just as politely but she still seems reserved. If she is reserved, does that mean she isn't upset or is done completely? I have not hungout with her since Sunday and she avoided me at the meal (sat with girls) but then cuddled me later! It was rather contradictory.

You guys are fine. If she's texting you at 6am , you are obviously the first thing on her mind.

You haven't seen her since sunday...have you asked her to hang out? What's with the standstill. ..?

She wasn't like this in the last two days. I assured her that I loved her today, asked if she needed anything from the store and that I was listening to her criticism (need more quick prep foods in my kitchen) and 2snt to make my home as comfortable for her as possible so let me know what I can do.

She really warmed up after that and started talking about going to events and sharing food.

She seems depressed. Saw her tonight and her mom seems to be controlling her. I am surprised she hasn't moved out yet! Her ft contract doesn't look like it will be extended either and Friday is the last day of 3 months.

She talked about IF we lived together and IF we got married, stable finances and no debts would be deal breaker's for her. I said I only have debts because I have been buying her things. I am starting my new job tomorrow and my goal is to clear the debts I have accumulated since January.

Is it a good sign that we are discussing marriage and moving in? I don't like how the impression I had of her mentioning finances as a deal breaker as a way of almost turning me down in a sense.

She said I looked sad before I left and I said it was because I wouldn't get to see her for two days. I hadn't seen her since Sunday..so 3 days. Felt like forever.

Are there any signs if my Taurus is depressed and unleashing her anger on me? She was angry last weekend for most of it and I don't feel like I caused it at all.
