Hi there. I'm a bullette who has a venus in pisces and I know for a fact that my water venus needs to swim deep and feel as 'one' with another person on an intuitive level. I have a feeling that your VIS may be similar to my VIP and may find his VIG a little too 'light hearted'. I believe that scorpio is deep and live total commitment whereas gems are very lighthearted and rather shallow compared to the depth of the scorpion. You best bet, when you finally meet him in person you will 'feel' his depth and you will know.
For example My ex was a sag with VIS and when I was with him I could feel the connection of this energy which was strong and which my VIP clung too even though the relationship did not work. But the Depth of feeling (connection) was instantaneous.
two months ago I met a taurus with a sag moon and a venus in gem and there was no Depth of feeling (connection). He wanted more than friendship but because (I believe) my VIP could not feel anything. I had to decline and keep him as a friend until he 'grew on me' ie until I knew his personality better. It was not instantaneous.. It felt superficial so I did not form a physical relationship with him. Due to the impatience of his sag moon our friendship ended. I believe my VIP found his VIG to be too superficial. I need to feel the depth of feeling; the aura of a person.
I am sorry this is long and I hope you can understand this as your VIS is in water and water signs are emotional and intuitive. They feel things out. I hope this is not too deep.

Im a scorpio venus, and my friend is a gemini venus. Its a little difficult. We are not a couple btw.
When we worked together, one of the reasons I couldnt take him seriously was because of his flirtatious and sneaky nature. I always felt he had a wandering eye and always kept the door open for an upgrade, although that last part could be his taurus sun lol.
He grew on me too. I think his cancer mars grounds him a bit more than a typical gemini venus. Also, i have a libra mars, so i understand wanting space and LOTS of freedom. Its just tough when the scorpio venus gets suspicious...like Im suspicious of something now, and its easy to get paranoid, darn near have panic attacks, sabotage, destroy etc etc. He'll think its all giggles until I push it too far with a comment, which makes him step back, then I start to panic and think he's done for good.
Yeah, it can be difficult.

@OP and I4. This taurus with his sag moon and my leo moon got on great. But his VIG would make sexual jokes, inuendos so my VIP could not take him seriously. We dated for two months. On many occasions even up until the day we fell out he always wanted more than friendship and was impatient but my VIP needed more time to trust his dedication. Thats the problem VIG does not come across as dedicated. Gem is a very social sign anyway and I believe he was this way in love. He told me that he was in a 13 year 'on/off' relationship which he ended 6 months before we met. He said he was never unfaithful. So he obviously had stable qualities but because his gem is in the element of air.. Water will not feel a thing And us water venuses need to feel a connection. Venus in scorpio I feel needs to swim even deeper than a VIP as scorpio is fixed whereas pisces is mutable.
I suggest engage with him and get to know him as a person and your 2 hour distance allows for this which is good. When you meet your VIS will 'sound him out' straight away and if (like my VIP) if feels nothing but the superficiality of this Gem trust me you will not venture into a relationship with him unless he gave you tonnes of time and reassurance and that would only be accomplished by spending time with him as a friend and hanging out..

Or too intense and too serious. He says I interrogate too much.

I totally know what you mean...My VIS needs that total confirmation that he's really interested. I've been back and forth on whether or not I really "feel" like he is. We don't talk/text everyday, and because of our schedules convos aren't very long all the time.
He actually suprised me last night when we talked and I asked "where do you see yourself next year?" and he replied "with you" Up until that point he'd never said anything so forward. I want to believe he means that but like you said, until we meet in person I can't fully gauge his feelings/intentions...click to expand

I know a Cancer with Venus in Gem. He told me that he always thinks that the grass is greener on the other side.
He also told me he has a love addiction.

*** continued.
How could he want to be with you when you've not even met. It might happen but right now it's just text.

Venus in gemini's can sometimes get bored with a partner quickly.. It's kind of SORT OF like Aries placements once they conquer something it's on to the next (not always but always has been for the rams in my life). Lol... But if you can keep him interested no problem.
As a Gemini rising i can get bored easy.. I could only imagine having a ViG.. Thankfully mine is in libra. Venus in Gemini isn't all that bad, now I can understand if he had more gem placements than your Venus might have a harder time.. But he's got a Taurus sun and such that's just one eeeeny weeeeny bit to him.
Have you done a synastry chart?

Of course I've read online about the compatibility of Venus in Gem, with Venus in Scorp but I just wanted to know if anyone has any personal experiences with this placement?

I am VinGem and my closest male friends are all Venus in Scorp (4 total). The one woman I've run into with that placement - it was the craziest most magnetic chemistry I've ever experienced in my life. I can also tell you that he thinks you have lovely eyes and lips...lol.click to expand

I'm a VIG and I can be very emotionally deep, but it takes a long time to get there. Not a side I show to just anyone. I am a Taurus too, so i have no problem commiting. You just have to work for it.

Did the woman with VIS every display any signs of jealousy? It's one of my biggest downfalls with this placement lol.

@TaurusLovesScorpio,
So with the object of your affection, how much space do you need? I always hear that VIG needs lots of space...How true is that in your case?

Update for anyone who's interested lol
I've decided to just fall back on this guy. I like him but it's starting to feel like if I don't reach out I won't hear from him. It's been almost a week since we've spoken. I'm just not the type to chase. Maybe he's got someone else who knows.
Thanks everyone for your input.

@TL. Were you dating or did you have a relationship with the scorpio you mention?

So if you're not in a committed relationship, do you date more than one person at a time or do you like to focus on dating one person?click to expand

Even if I get bored, if I am committed, I'll still stay loyal and not move on to another person. But, that is one of the things I think that draws me to Venus in Scorp people. The mystery keeps me interested. They always seem to have part of themselves, that they keep to themselves and have a lot of emotional depth - much harder to get bored of these folks.click to expand

Another sexy aspect of her jealousy is that it didn't always or even often shut her down. It was like a competitive jealousy, lol. She saw me walk by with another attractive girl, and she did a little seductive routine immediately after, that was equivalent to her decapitating the girl I was with, and tossing her head in the trash.....lol. Taurus jealousy is often more of the variety of ignoring you, refusing to compete with another, being offended that our pull wasn't enough, etc. Its sexy to see someone who will fight for you....Scorpio seduction is a little more dynamic. Its powerfully magnetic even in the passivity, but also active/aggressive/assertive. Pluto & Mars I guess.

Sooo, Taurus guy is back. After not speaking for like 3 weeks I decided to send him a text just to say hello. He immediately texted back, asking how I was blah blah blah...then almost every day after that he would text me first thing in the morning and we would talk all day. He told me he would be off work in the next week and that he wanted to see me. He was being so sweet...
Then...the other day he didn't text me so I texted him. No response. Texted again about 9hrs later to say Good Night. No response. A day later still nothing. So I've pretty much given up. I just don't get it. Did he get bored? Change his mind? Or am I just overreacting? The Virgo side of me is analyzing this whole brief interaction we've had trying to make sense of it lol...

^^^ Yea, you're right...Idk why I just automatically assumed the worst.

Hi All,
I'm a newbie here...
I'm a Virgo female. (Moon in Sag, Venus in Scorp, Mars in Cap)who has been talking to a lovely Taurus guy (Moon in Aries, Venus in Gem, Mars in Aqua). We met online and he lives about 2hrs away in another state and thus, we haven't met in person yet. Our schedules our conflicting, he works at night, I work during the day...so we don't get to talk quite as much.
Of course I've read online about the compatibility of Venus in Gem, with Venus in Scorp but I just wanted to know if anyone has any personal experiences with this placement?

gets bored easily, have many other interests beside him to give him excitement. I wish I dont have this placement but I do and the thing I know is that I will never trust a person with this placement lol. just too tricky thing to have. and my "soon" can be a year later even. if i dont NEED TO or WANT 100% then its all over the place and I take it easily and a year later maybe.. only maybe.. if no other chance.
