Hi All,

I'm a newbie here...

I'm a Virgo female. (Moon in Sag, Venus in Scorp, Mars in Cap)who has been talking to a lovely Taurus guy (Moon in Aries, Venus in Gem, Mars in Aqua). We met online and he lives about 2hrs away in another state and thus, we haven't met in person yet. Our schedules our conflicting, he works at night, I work during the day...so we don't get to talk quite as much.

Of course I've read online about the compatibility of Venus in Gem, with Venus in Scorp but I just wanted to know if anyone has any personal experiences with this placement?

Hi there. I'm a bullette who has a venus in pisces and I know for a fact that my water venus needs to swim deep and feel as 'one' with another person on an intuitive level. I have a feeling that your VIS may be similar to my VIP and may find his VIG a little too 'light hearted'. I believe that scorpio is deep and live total commitment whereas gems are very lighthearted and rather shallow compared to the depth of the scorpion. You best bet, when you finally meet him in person you will 'feel' his depth and you will know.

For example My ex was a sag with VIS and when I was with him I could feel the connection of this energy which was strong and which my VIP clung too even though the relationship did not work. But the Depth of feeling (connection) was instantaneous.

two months ago I met a taurus with a sag moon and a venus in gem and there was no Depth of feeling (connection). He wanted more than friendship but because (I believe) my VIP could not feel anything. I had to decline and keep him as a friend until he 'grew on me' ie until I knew his personality better. It was not instantaneous.. It felt superficial so I did not form a physical relationship with him. Due to the impatience of his sag moon our friendship ended. I believe my VIP found his VIG to be too superficial. I need to feel the depth of feeling; the aura of a person.

I am sorry this is long and I hope you can understand this as your VIS is in water and water signs are emotional and intuitive. They feel things out. I hope this is not too deep.

I totally know what you mean...My VIS needs that total confirmation that he's really interested. I've been back and forth on whether or not I really "feel" like he is. We don't talk/text everyday, and because of our schedules convos aren't very long all the time.

He actually suprised me last night when we talked and I asked "where do you see yourself next year?" and he replied "with you" Up until that point he'd never said anything so forward. I want to believe he means that but like you said, until we meet in person I can't fully gauge his feelings/intentions...

Im a scorpio venus, and my friend is a gemini venus. Its a little difficult. We are not a couple btw.

When we worked together, one of the reasons I couldnt take him seriously was because of his flirtatious and sneaky nature. I always felt he had a wandering eye and always kept the door open for an upgrade, although that last part could be his taurus sun lol.

He grew on me too. I think his cancer mars grounds him a bit more than a typical gemini venus. Also, i have a libra mars, so i understand wanting space and LOTS of freedom. Its just tough when the scorpio venus gets suspicious...like Im suspicious of something now, and its easy to get paranoid, darn near have panic attacks, sabotage, destroy etc etc. He'll think its all giggles until I push it too far with a comment, which makes him step back, then I start to panic and think he's done for good.

Yeah, it can be difficult.

Yep what you said about pushing it too far with a comment...that's happened to me before lol. I have to really watch what I say and how it comes across.

The thing that makes me suspicious is his lack of consistency when it comes to communication. Most of the time he responds to my texts/calls, but occasionally he doesn't. We'll go a few days without talking to each other and I don't wanna come off as clingy so I don't make contact first most of the time...he's probably just busy but my venus in scorp always thinks there's something behind it lol.

@OP and I4. This taurus with his sag moon and my leo moon got on great. But his VIG would make sexual jokes, inuendos so my VIP could not take him seriously. We dated for two months. On many occasions even up until the day we fell out he always wanted more than friendship and was impatient but my VIP needed more time to trust his dedication. Thats the problem VIG does not come across as dedicated. Gem is a very social sign anyway and I believe he was this way in love. He told me that he was in a 13 year 'on/off' relationship which he ended 6 months before we met. He said he was never unfaithful. So he obviously had stable qualities but because his gem is in the element of air.. Water will not feel a thing And us water venuses need to feel a connection. Venus in scorpio I feel needs to swim even deeper than a VIP as scorpio is fixed whereas pisces is mutable.

I suggest engage with him and get to know him as a person and your 2 hour distance allows for this which is good. When you meet your VIS will 'sound him out' straight away and if (like my VIP) if feels nothing but the superficiality of this Gem trust me you will not venture into a relationship with him unless he gave you tonnes of time and reassurance and that would only be accomplished by spending time with him as a friend and hanging out..

Did he chase/pursue you regularly? This guy doesn't really chase me per se, he's just kind of there. One time we didn't talk for like a week and he finally texted and asked if I'd forgotten about him lol. I hadn't, I just figured he wasn't that into me and I backed off. I wish he would call me more, but he doesn't...Maybe its just my impatient Sag moon lol

Yep! The latest thing I said is when I get myself together I was cutting him off lol, smh. I joked a little after the comment, but now Im paranoid. His hug felt different the last time I saw him. Thats another thing with us scorpio venuses...every little thing makes us suspicious. I was sick and he could have had a little distance to prevent himself from getting sick, but in my paranoid mind his heart isnt in it anymore lmao, but honestly, he is coming off a tad bit distant than usual.

Yeah, the consistency is just not there with communication with my friend either. Its why I get so upset and say mean things. I feel we arent going anywhere at all, but there was a time when communication was MUCH better and I REALLY complained then, so idk. Maybe its the scorpio venus fault.

Also, mine told me once to play games with him. I guess a part of us are too loyal, or predictable.

Don't put much emphasis on the text. It's fun and flirty but unlikely to be meant at this moment in time. If you think about it, how could he want to

Busyeyes makes a good point regarding the venus connection.

As a Sun and Venus Scorp, I do like that depth of connection with another water venus but sometimes too much water is too much. You wallow and drown in your own shit, depending on other placements of course.

My experience of one Taurus Sun with Gem Venus was not the best. It wasn't the lack of depth as such, just the fickleness which made me think he wasn't interested in me. His behaviour confused me.

As BusyEyes says, if we're not feeling the connection and love it's almost impossible to become physical with that person unless circumstances are that it's just a one off or something then you don't look at it that much anyway.

My experience was that I liked the dude, found him physically attractive but I couldn't reciprocate the physical affection as I just felt something wasn't right. It was really weird.

I would say it would take a lot of work but I'm all water and fire. No air.

The plus side of them is their sense of fun. Witty, conversation, interest in many things, etc. I have Sag rising so Gem descendant. I really value the mental connection in the relationship but the physical requires reassurance.

Just meet him and see how it goes. Try not to pre-judge as its not fair. Sometimes the lightheartedness is just what a Scorp Venus needs.

Venus in gemini's can sometimes get bored with a partner quickly.. It's kind of SORT OF like Aries placements once they conquer something it's on to the next (not always but always has been for the rams in my life). Lol... But if you can keep him interested no problem.

As a Gemini rising i can get bored easy.. I could only imagine having a ViG.. Thankfully mine is in libra. Venus in Gemini isn't all that bad, now I can understand if he had more gem placements than your Venus might have a harder time.. But he's got a Taurus sun and such that's just one eeeeny weeeeny bit to him.

Have you done a synastry chart?

I always worry about the getting bored thing as I am naturally kinda boring lol. The only thing that gives me a little spunk is my Sag moon thankfully.

I have done a chart, but Idk his exact birth time. Still trying to figure out what all the houses and aspects mean but its super confusing!

I am VinGem and my closest male friends are all Venus in Scorp (4 total). The one woman I've run into with that placement - it was the craziest most magnetic chemistry I've ever experienced in my life. I can also tell you that he thinks you have lovely eyes and lips...lol.

Even if I get bored, if I am committed, I'll still stay loyal and not move on to another person. But, that is one of the things I think that draws me to Venus in Scorp people. The mystery keeps me interested. They always seem to have part of themselves, that they keep to themselves and have a lot of emotional depth - much harder to get bored of these folks.

Well I'm flattered 😉

Did the woman with VIS every display any signs of jealousy? It's one of my biggest downfalls with this placement lol.

Yes, we were both seeing other people at that time. Firstly she walked by me with the girl I was seeing once (we all worked together then), and she was so pissed. She tried to hide it by turning her face to stone and staring through me...lol. But it was so obvious and I could feel her seething inwardly. I could see every muscle in her face and neck flexing trying to maintain her stillness of expression as she walked by. lol....

I have a few female friends at work. Every single female I am close with has told me that she looked them up and down, gave them dirty looks, etc. - particularly the woman I was with. She told me completely of her own accord too, without me bringing up the VinScorp. For me though, I like a crazy jealous woman. I like all that passion - its flattering to me....I love it really. And I'm kinda the same way except I just have learned to play it really cool. So its good to have someone who understands my own jealousy. Though as a Virgo, with Venus in Scorp, I would wager that you probably expect more trust when it comes to *your* dealings with the opposite sex, than you are willing to lend to your man...lol.

But I also like it for another reason. I know I have deep capacity for faithfulness, so with a woman who is that passionately jealous, I like that I can put her at ease. See the thing is though - the chemistry with her was so strong, for the first time in my life, she made me feel unfaithful in my heart towards who I was with. But I knew, I could be faithful in body, heart, and even mind to her if we were to be together. And really, that is my deepest desire - to really be with that woman where the love is so great, every part of my being is willing and able to only have eyes for her. For the time I was around her, I did not even have the capacity to find another human being remotely attractive. The connection goes so far beyond the physical.

Another sexy aspect of her jealousy is that it didn't always or even often shut her down. It was like a competitive jealousy, lol. She saw me walk by with another attractive girl, and she did a little seductive routine immediately after, that was equivalent to her decapitating the girl I was with, and tossing her head in the trash.....lol. Taurus jealousy is often more of the variety of ignoring you, refusing to compete with another, being offended that our pull wasn't enough, etc. Its sexy to see someone who will fight for you....Scorpio seduction is a little more dynamic. Its powerfully magnetic even in the passivity, but also active/aggressive/assertive. Pluto & Mars I guess.

@TaurusLovesScorpio,

So with the object of your affection, how much space do you need? I always hear that VIG needs lots of space...How true is that in your case?

I like to spend time doing stuff we both enjoy....but yeah sometimes i get into a hobby or a new subject i am reading about and i need a night here and there, or a few hours each night pursuing that....i love when my partner is into things i am so we can do that together.....i just cant sit on the couch and watch boring tv shows, or do boring social stuff i am not stimulated by, *just* for the sake of being around one another....

Update for anyone who's interested lol

I've decided to just fall back on this guy. I like him but it's starting to feel like if I don't reach out I won't hear from him. It's been almost a week since we've spoken. I'm just not the type to chase. Maybe he's got someone else who knows.

Thanks everyone for your input.

That's good. Now you'll probably hear from him in a few days....lol.

@TL. Were you dating or did you have a relationship with the scorpio you mention?

I was on and off with someone else at first actually....Then she came along. It was so intense it honestly scared me. I've never felt anything like that before. And the girl I was on/off with I had known for a while, was very close with my kid, etc. I ultimately decided to commit to her. I have to stay loyal to whoever I'm with first really, even if my emotions wane (though I know that sounds insane). It really messed me up though. I've never been able to forget the VinScorp. Long, boring, story I've whined at length about all over this forum....its what brought me here in the first place.

I'm a VIG and I can be very emotionally deep, but it takes a long time to get there. Not a side I show to just anyone. I am a Taurus too, so i have no problem commiting. You just have to work for it.

So if you're not in a committed relationship, do you date more than one person at a time or do you like to focus on dating one person?

I usually date more than one person when I am looking. I almost always let women know what my status is up front. If I just ended a relationship, i'm usually looking for companionship without commitment. I usually need time to mentally reset for a committed relationship after a break up.

I'm Taurus sun with Venus in Gemini and yes,I do get bored. Also,if I'm really interested in you and only into you,I'll perhaps make sure to contact you once a day in the intial days, even if its just a text or a 2 min call.If I'm not contacting you very often,I'm perhaps also interested in a few other folks too.And when I need space,I need it.I find jealousy cute but you shouldn't be troubling me with it and your insecurities.I need independence, also,I may question you on stuff but won't like you questioning me.I'll keep it casual for a loooongg time before committing.

Sooo, Taurus guy is back. After not speaking for like 3 weeks I decided to send him a text just to say hello. He immediately texted back, asking how I was blah blah blah...then almost every day after that he would text me first thing in the morning and we would talk all day. He told me he would be off work in the next week and that he wanted to see me. He was being so sweet...

Then...the other day he didn't text me so I texted him. No response. Texted again about 9hrs later to say Good Night. No response. A day later still nothing. So I've pretty much given up. I just don't get it. Did he get bored? Change his mind? Or am I just overreacting? The Virgo side of me is analyzing this whole brief interaction we've had trying to make sense of it lol...

I'd just leave it for now and let him contact you. Don't stress over it. Chances are he's busy, got bored, and it's also likely he'll forget he said about meeting you that week and arrangements may or may not be made.

Welcome to the world of Venus in Gem...

My mother has it plus Gem Sun. Total nightmare but that's them.

Just don't rely on him for anything and keep it light. That's hard to do when you have Scorp Venus (I think I read that in your first post) but it's the only solution in my opinion. My experience of a Taurus Sun with Gem Venus was odd because I just didn't get that behaviour at all. If I say I'm going to do something then I do. They don't really work the same way.

Well he texted me last night, claims that he never got EITHER of my texts...Something about his phone being dead. Do I totally believe that? Not really but I can't really prove otherwise so we'll see how things go if/when we meet.

He never really gave me a concrete day to meet, just said that he would be off starting next week and wanted to meet soon...so who knows when it will happen.

The only guy I ever actually looked up astrology wise had Venus in Gemini which is new to me. I have VIT.. I do know someone who has Gemini sun.. but this is my first Venus in Gemini person.. but I am pretty sure it's probably the same traits..

keep the mental stimulation and less emotions..lol let them have space and maybe one day we could go out and do things together simultaneously..haha just wait because they are always busy...

It seems that they always want to talk about current events or sex positions.. I am always talk about life, stability, maybe love and cuddling.. haha...so it's totally different..

yes I have Aquarius moon so can keep the emotions in check and but I always want to mix it with love and then current events in today's news later..

But my fixed elements are too serious and critical for VIG people they are flighty.... But to me I want to find my lover and I take it seriously.. VIG does not. They are flirty and so am I which seems to be a connection to my VIT because I flirt back with sensuality..which can cloud my judgement for awhile and have fun with people like this..then my different approach in life is different than yours and usually aren't into compromising..

gets bored easily, have many other interests beside him to give him excitement. I wish I dont have this placement but I do and the thing I know is that I will never trust a person with this placement lol. just too tricky thing to have. and my "soon" can be a year later even. if i dont NEED TO or WANT 100% then its all over the place and I take it easily and a year later maybe.. only maybe.. if no other chance.

Of course I've read online about the compatibility of Venus in Gem, with Venus in Scorp but I just wanted to know if anyone has any personal experiences with this placement?

Venus is the affection, Venus in Gemini= Gemini Affection, today thinks one thing , tomorrow another , rationalize feelings, emotions, they live more in their own minds than in reality. They always want what they haven't , their minds does not rest on betting, a lovable crazy but crazy after all. I do not think well withstand the pressure of a real material Virgo , I guess at first that is attractive to them but eventually he could hating you . Be careful.

Maybe he's got someone else who knows.

Sure he has several, all men likes collect women, friends , fans ... but Venus in Gemini is a true champion in this. They has women but escape from them because if attached to some he thinks , oh, then I'll have to give up the rest, my harem. They collect them but men are not stupid (Venus in Gemini not stupid at all), they know that sex more than the cement paste and are afraid then you're going to find his home, lol.

gets bored easily, have many other interests beside him to give him excitement.

Gemini placements are very common in Taurus and is a nuisance, if they have not venus, have the moon, ascendant, all or several... Graagh ! I like Taurus Sun, Taurus ascendant or other (except Gemini), Venus in Taurus, others I can fight, with Gemini I do not care.

Hey everyone! These comments on VIG's are hilarious. I think - and I'm biased because i'm a Venusian Gemini - people are failing to separate VIG characteristics from a trait of most, if not all human beings; to be selfish. We are all selfish and we display these our selfishness in different ways. What I mean is, VIG's 'might' get bored easily, but all of this talk about keeping harems, being devious, etc - loads of wo/men keep multiple partners, get bored easily or lie- are every single one of them VIG's?

I've learnt - the hard way - that I need a very deep mental connection with a person to really fall for them. I'm not a flaky person, and while I might end relationships 'early' - early by whose standards, btw? - I'm yet to come across a person who has ended a long term relationship that has been able to give me profound insight to what they realised after 5 years that I didn't realise after half a year. Not once. It's as if it's impossible for some people to be able know where a relationship is headed ahead of time.

And I don't think i get bored easily, I just think it doesn't take long to realise the effects of a 'wrong' relationship decision. When we think of Love, it's almost impossible for our judgments not to be clouded by what has gone on around us, and before us- basically Other People's Ideas . And while some of us might go through lessons (in situations brought about by the general/generic ideas about life that most of us start with) and decide not to learn from them, some of us understand that the only way to get closer to the mythical 'right answer' is to learn from experience and self awareness. I've learned things about my self that have filled me with guilt (because I've wasted many an ex's time with by not knowing this things about myself from the beginning), but I heard that a (specific?) mistake is not really a mistake if you don't make it twice.

So, while some VIG's might exploit others based on a very base desire to have their cake and eat it - something all signs are guilty of - some are just destined to make mistakes in very particular ways until they are clear about who/what they want.

I like the idea of dating someone who has similar principles and who I can completely gel with when I'm having a sincere conversation with them. For some people, this might be asking for too much, a lie or boring. For me, this is the goal.

I apologise if this message is too long or irrelevant to the discussion.
