A Taurus man may act distant due to stress, busyness, or needing space, especially when overwhelmed. His behavior is often not personal but linked to his need for stability and patience. It's best to give him time and show understanding rather than push for communication. Respect his pace and focus on quality interactions when possible.
If you know he's busy be the best support system you can be! You would want the same .
I remember reading something on the news about a girlfriend who was so upset that her athlete boyfriend wasnt spending enough time together. So she spazzed out and threw boiling water on him.
Hes no longer an nfl contender and shes going to jail. Had she just been his support system he would be drafted next year and she woulda had a crazy diamond ring.

Hi guys! So, for past couple of weeks i've been in relationship with a Taurus guy.
Before we got together we were friends for like 10 years and we have always had a thing for each other (so he knew what he's getting into and 'uncertainty' about this relationship could not be the case of acting distant).
Everything was great at the start and we both were very happy, but lately I've had a feeling that he is acting very distant. He's not texting me as often, not calling.. Basically, just not communicating with me as he used to! And it really bothers me as I'm a Cancer...
What is more.. because of our busy schedules we are seeing each other once week.. so I think that could be the first problem (cause when we see each other - everything is more than great!)..
Secondly, i know he has a lot on his plate right now. Busy time at university, he's an athlete and his team is losing lately etc.
I guess what I want to know: why a Taurus guy might act like this? Is it me or is it him? Should I just keep my distance and wait when he comes around or should I do exactly the opposite?
P.S. As I mentioned - he's really busy atm and because of that it's even a problem to plan a signle date..
it's really starting to get on my nerves! and, even more, because it looks like he does not see a problem with that!!
Looking for some advice here..
Thank you in advance!
At least he may have his shit together for future reference if you all decide to communicate and work it out. Good luck.
If a man really loves you he'll find time for you. You'll be a comfort to him when he's troubled. From what you say, he's making excuses not to be with you. He may have problems but the way he's handling them makes me wonder just how good this relationship is, or how good he considers it to be.
no, you shouldn't chase him for his attention.
during your 10 year friendship, has he behaved this way before? i think after 10 years, you have an ease in your friendship that allows you to just ask him. ask him what he needs from you and what he is thinking.
likewise, use up some of that friendship credit you have in the bank and tell him how you are feeling. don't change the dynamics of your friendship now that you are in a relationship.
10 years you know everything already and timing is off yet again perhaps for you both. Perhaps.
