Taurus Woman takes long to respond to text —?

I am a Virgo man. I met this Taurus woman. I got her number and started text her. But i realize she takes long to respond to my text. I respond like immediately to hers but she takes long like 15 mins and sometimes even an hour to respond. And her text is often short too. Is she interested in me cuz we also have good times when we talk to each other and have lunch....

Look, sometimes we're just lazy....We feel that thing buzzing in our pocket, and we just don't even want to reach in there, take it out, unlock it, click on text messages, read what you wrote, pull up the keyboard, type back, etc. etc. We just want to chill....

I'm a Taurus and I have to admit I do that when I'm really not interested in that person. It's really stupid, but that's the only time I reply late to a text consistently like that. She may realize you like her, and doesn't know how to say she doesn't have the same feelings for you.

I hope I'm not being rude. It's my honest opinion. 🙂

Or, she could just be busy at the moment. I can't tell you how many times I've put my phone down mid text. Then two hours later remembered I was having a conversation with someone. Lol

Buddy you are messin with a Taurus woman? Its like throwing bricks at a glass wall and the glass never breaking. Its like, ringing a doorbell but the person home decides to nap before they answer the door.

Call her instead. Get her talking.. THAT way you can read her tone to see if she's interested (or not.)

When I take forever to text its either I'm :

1) Driving
2) Getting Nails done
3) Texting other people..(maybe another guy or two.)
4) Just taking my time..what's the rush?.. (lol @ the "Take a nap" before opening the door example)

5) If we had an arguement, I'm being spiteful and WANT to torture you...so YES, I'll make you wait.

I thought the purpose of texting was so you could do other things and not expect a response right away. This allows you to focus on other things. The reason why I hate the phone is because it requires I have people's undivided attention. Texting is somewhat better for me, because I can take 30 minutes or an hour to respond. But I can do a ton of other things while holding a conversation.


Anyway, to the OP you should be trying to get her to see you in person. Taurus can be VERY fake people over text or the phone. But in person, it's harder for them to be fake. If there is an attraction, it will only really be truly realized in person. Taurus and Virgos are very physical signs. Without any sort of physical interaction, the relationship fades into non-existence.

I'm currently texting a Pisces guy, and sometimes it takes me 2 hours for me to respond.

I like making guys sweat it out (like you're doing).
And yes, I am quite interested in this guy, so a delay in response doesn't always equal disinterest.

I think you said that is really going on... I just did not want to be rude too...

I will say though if you want to learn about girls you have to take the perspective of... if they are good enough to get with then why not friends...

I think to many guys are focused on just that aspect and girls even often forget what it is like to even have one really true guy friend that is not playing on the other team...

I guess I sound like the odd man out here but here it goes.

If I'm into someone I read the text and think for the next 30 min to a hour on how to reply. I will always reply, but it can take me a bit depending on how much it gets to my heart and brain.

With friends or those I will consider just friends I can be lazy, but I don't over think what I write. I suppose this would make it hard for most to read me though because you wouldnt know if I'm tripping over the text or just don't care.

I always return texts whether it's friends it romantic interest. If I am with romantic interest I am content with checking it quickly and popping it back in my handbag. Meaning if you aren't my child or if it isn't a family crisis it stays in my bag.
Other than that the only reason for delay would be: busy at work, sound asleep, driving.
Waiting on a text sucks snot. So I don't play that one.

She is absolutely not into you, OR she is actually timing her responses to drive you crazy. I do both, however if I am truly into a guy and want him to look forward to me I will read the text immediately, giggle, then wait an appropriate amount of time to respond. I am not at anyone's beck and call. 🙂

A little side note, I quickly tire of texting. I must have actually interaction with a guy, my senses often force me to fall for a man even when my mind is telling me no. 🙂

Please, speak for me. I'm noticing my texting behaviors more than ever after hearing all the complaints on this board. When people text me I get super annoyed. I feel like they are trying to control me because I KNOW they are expecting me to text back. They are forcing me, through some unspoken social code of reciprocal texting, to type with my thumbs. Whenever I respond to a text, I notice 3 others in there that I forgot to respond to days ago. And if someone texts me at work, I purposely ignore it until the work day is over, to set texting boundaries. I want them to feel like I can't see their texts during work hours.

When I'm with you I focus all my attention on you. When I'm doing other things, then its only fair that those things get the same amount of attention. a little beep, bling, or boop is not going to stop me from what I'm doing.

This is interesting. My Taurus friend just started calling monday. HE prefers texts, while I prefer the phone. I wondered for the longest why he wouldnt just call.

I do also notice sometimes the Taurus woman I like does the same but I think she is actually busy when she doesn't respond right away. When I text her a compliment she normally don't waste anytime texting me back or also when I haven't shown her any attention the whole day then out of nowhere I text her then she immediately responds. We work together but it's hard to find time to talk due to we are both busy throughout the day since we work at a call center. I do love ignoring her sometimes because then she will walk by desk not say anything then walk by again and kick my chair so I will turn around and see her. It's so funny :-) I don't know why she just wont speak first but she prefers for me to start the conversations. If I see she's having a bad day then I will go talk to her or send a text. She's always surprised and appreciate when I notice she's upset since she hides it so well but I always notice by looking in her eyes. It's true that a Taurus can't hide their feelings in their eyes. If I were in your shoes I will just fall back to see if she notice and if not then just try to be her friend and move on.

NO I agree 100% , I will lose interest in you if all you want to do is text. I'm a face to face old fashion kind of girl. lol
