modest classy--aatractive but completely unaware of it. Conceitedness turns him off.

independent--no doormats and codependent women for him. He's annoyed by it.

I actually wanted to write both, I really like to chase but if i don't see a response in return then i kinda hate it.
and i don't want a crazy stalker type girl. Someone who's not a total bitch and at the same time not a completely out of mind clingy and crying girl.

Words to live by. 🙂 Who knew I would be strategically chasing a Taurus (at my age) and being patient at the same time. He has no idea that I am the best woman to ever walk into his life although he says that I intimidate him. Not sure why. Slowly but surely he will find that out.

That about sums it up. I should say that if she doesn't give me the impression there is any interest on her part... no point worrying about it. Of course this needs to be obvious... I have been labeled as being oblivious to the signals. Most of my friends happen to be women, so I need to be smacked in the face with it early on. Waving a big red flag in the shape of heart with my name embroidered in the center might work... then I will act. Otherwise, I will only see her as being just another friend... and I am not capable of adapting a friendship into a romance.

Ahhhh... the thrill of the chase... the building up to the ultimate conquest. Strange thing about chasing... the reward is never quite as sweet.

No... playing hard-to-get does not demonstrate 'self-respect' because it is ONLY a game... and when the game is finally finished... THEN what ? THIS kind of relationship is based on competition... NOT 'Self-respect'. A dog will blindly chase a rabbit... won or lost, it is still finished... and had absolutely nothing to do with love or dignity on either side.

YOUR attentions would work best... Taurus will stay as long you want him to... but he has to SEE that you DO actaully WANT him to.

Seriously need to write a book on Taurus men, David. You really do. You explain them so well that we all can get a decent grasp on all of you and I appreciate it so much.

What you said made so much sense.

Show that you are interested consistently but don't expect them to respond to your advances right away. They have to see if you are consistent first. Then be open and honest, no games or lies. I guess let them see first hand what it would be like to be with you. Be s friend without being put in the friend zone so that you can build trust and respect. And be patient that they will come around. If I'm not mistaken, they will drop hints along the way if they want you. If not I do know that they will tell you directly.

Is that about right?
