I've read that Virgos disrespect Taurus because Taureans think intuitively while Virgos are practical and logical with little tolerance for intuition.

Have you ever had a Virgo try to "fix" you?

Yes, many times and I think this is where our relationship tends to fall apart. Though my possessions (and I ) may appear disorganized at times, I have that uncanny ablility bestowed upon Taureans to find exactly what I'm looking for in the midst of the disorder.

What do you think?

Taurus father and virgo mother have been happily married for 40+ years. And it's not like "yeah, they can stand each other". No, they are disgustingly sweet towards eachother. They always do things for each other that is either helpful or just makes the other person feel good. For instance, if one of them is coming home from just having gone for an errand, the other is genuinely excited to see them come home and makes tea or coffee for the arrival and greets the other with a happy smile and a hug and a kiss.

Yes, I know it sounds almost fabricated, but it's actually true.

"Have you ever had a Virgo try to "fix" you?"
Don't know if I need to answer this; I already told you my mother is a virgo.😉

Now, I think it would be appropriate to share what my parents have told me is the secret to such a long and happy marriage.

Communication.
Complete trust.
Do things together.
Constantly looking out for the other person.

In their relationship, the other person always comes first, and that works because of the complete trust that the other person are thinking the same way. They are good at different things, which they use to their advantage instead of see as differences to "overcome" and they both actively tries to think of ways of enriching the other person's life.

Do I believe in virgo/taurus partnerships? Oh yes!🙂

*Edit: Please forgive the horrible grammar, but I'm too tired to fix it.

my virgo bf is definitely a "fixer" and is so set in his ways (aqua moon pfft) that he refuses to see others point of view. oh he likes communication, especially when it comes to his own. this is not to say he is a bad person because i'm obviously complaining. it is just that ive had that low simmer going on for a while about it and have come to express how i feel like he is correcting me all the time and that he thinks i dont know how to do anything at the age of 30 bc i dont do it the same as he does. and to add to this, his venus is in libra and boy does he want to do EVERYTHING together. lol im not this type at all yet have made considerable exceptions to try to accomodate this side of him to show my love. overall our relationship is draining, I'm sure on both sides bc i'm not always a peach (shocker i know!). im sure this is a combination that could work very fluidly with certain virgo bull relationships. we just definitely have our own issues we bring to the table.

My moon is in Virgo and I am definitely a fixer... I hate when things feel off-kilter. Communication is big with me - when I feel like my logic is falling on deaf ears I will begin to nag... Which then stresses me and the other person out.

But why won't they just fucking listen to logic!? FUCK. I'm always right, after all - Hahahahaha

It's true though, we want things in order for those we care about. We want people to live to their full potential, to be healthy. Being appreciated for the little, caring, things I do for others is a great compliment to me.

Virgos are fixers.
It can be both quite endearing or annoying at times depending on my mood.
They DO like to feel useful...to take care of you, and to be taken care of by you.

However, when they're in complete parental mode, I shut down.
I'm the most stubborn when this happens, and I refuse to do anything nice for them.
I'm quite independent and comfortable in my own skin, I don't feel this need to get BETTER.
The contradiction with Virgos is this, while high expectations of perfection is set for their partners, they can be quite insecure with themselves, and will set the bars very low in regards to their own ambitions, and needs in a relationship.

However,
Despite their flaws,

Love them to death.

i wouldn't trade them for anyone...well except CAPS! 😉

The coldness isn't an icebreaker for me, I'm quite Venusian, I can charm the pants off of anyone!

Have you ever had a Virgo try to "fix" you?
^^^^ my best friend of 10 plus years is a Virgo and he most definitely has tried to "fix" me throughout our friendship. It used to annoy the Shit out of me when I was younger until I learned over time that it's just the way they are when they care about you because they want to see you shine & glow to your full potential so they try and help you out by fixing things about you or around you that maybe holding you back from reaching your full potential.Because they hate to see loved ones who have hidden potential settle for less because that's when potential and talents get wasted which they hate seeing in their loved ones. They say that the signs of Virgo and Taurus are sympathetic towards each other and I find it to be true when one is down the other is always there to support and uplift the other. The Virgo is a reliable person for Taurus to depend on which in turn makes taurus feel happy secured and loved. It's truly amazing what Virgo and Taurus can accomplish together whether it be business friendship romantic wise our two signs truly and genuinely like each other and want to see each other happy and successful. Imo This union usually works best with Taurus men Virgo women because the Taurus man will just adore the Virgo like crazy and just put up with Virgo when they go in their critical and perfecting binges out of unconditional love for them because what Virgo's really need is that unconditional love.

I call bullshit - you are an absolute peach! Some men just don't understand that we are, pretty, smart, capable women, that happen to always be right! 😄

you and @LentoBull91 have expressed it very well. i do try to keep in mind that it is his way of showing love. yes it can be very drainging but overall it is nice to know someone cares THAT MUCH. i just wish he were better at going with the flow and accepting me as i am and trusting me, like i do him. some days i do feel like i can't do anything "right" by him but like you all said, it is only because they want the best for us. i just try to keep a thick skin and attempt to give him the attention he so craves. after all, he really just wants me to listen to him.... and not interrupt lol. which is EXTREMELY hard for gemini moon, aries merc me who loses him sometimes in thought and conversation. he has merc in virgo and is definitely not the multitasking type and loses track of thought almost instantly when i "interrupt" him. i want him to understand that my style of communication i consider "active listening" as i am in tune to what he's saying and respond appropriately. he however views this as me not listening bc i have a nasty habit of speaking before he's done speaking lol omg....

When a taurus girl expressed interest to me it was quite overwhelming. I didn't handle it well and, wasn't interested to begin with.

Haven't experienced what everyone discusses about the taurieXvirgie connection.

An ex's mum is a taurus and she really looked out for me, albeit overwhelmingly. I tried my best to accept her care and concern. She still does to this day. Although I need to constantly put the brakes or I'll be burned out.

@AbbyNormal - Active listening is definitely the way to go. But, no need for that skin to get too thick. When my Virgo brother goes too far with me and has hurt my feelings, I always listen until he's done and then let him know that although I understand his intentions and agree with some of his reasoning... he could work on the delivery. It won't work otherwise. Saying that has helped and he DOES make the effort to do things differently to work with me. I love that about him. He is the only Virgo that has managed to hurt my feelings... so, I used HIM as the example. 😛
thank you for the advice. it will definitely help our situation since i am usually the type to let a slow, low simmer eventually boil over when i feel i cant take any more lol mars in scorpio :-P this could help to avoid some disagreements so thank you mucho!

i could see this. my bf and i were best friends for about 3 years before any kind of romantic involvement, in which case were always taking care of each other even then. always made sure each other had what we needed in hard times and not, and even let him sleep over at my place in extreme times of need. it's just something that blossomed out of care for one another's general wellbeing and good friendship.

Oooh... I totally get Scorpio energy and its eruptions. 🤗 That deserves a hug!! I had to learn to go against my grain and learn to voice out what I felt when I felt it... before I blew up. hahahaaha.... it happens, especially when it is a sensitive matter and it comes from someone we care about.

lol thanks! really i keep my mouth shut when i have nothing nice to say as a general rule and a lot of times in avoidance of yet another argument lol but im trying to be aware of my delivery in what i say and try to have some kind of tact and logic when i express myself (aries merc probs pfft). it's just hard when i feel like i may hurt his feelings which is really easy to do surprisingly. and it's just because it's coming from me, and how i say it of course.

if anything i think virgo and taurus both respect each other. virgo sees the perseverance of taurus and taurus somehow sees the sensitivity of virgo. they would make a good team on a project.
