The first season was Brilliant!!

I'm watching the second season, and... I don't get it !!
The plot? feels inexistent. Or perhaps I am too stupid, haha.
It was difficult for me to concentrate, and process this new season tbh 😢

English isn't my first language, and I had a hard time understanding what Matthew Mcconaughey was saying (his hotness was distracting too), but I still managed to appreciate the storyline and the characters.
But season 2 deceived me so much, the Pilot was eerie, and it started great though... ah well, there is like 3 more episodes left I think.

Season 2 isn't season 1, you shouldn't go into think it will hold up the same. But for me it holds up better than a lot of shows that are out there. It's its own animal so to speak.

But what I totally enjoyed was the cinematography, it captured the essence California so well imo. this real vibe of a paradise of desperation, that personally took me back to my childhood.

I loved the first season. Second was ok but confusing. They were really sloppy with the story line. The characters were Hollywood clichés. First season was too but it had a darker conspiracy theory to it. If there is a third one I hope it's back to creepy southern town with secrets theme. That always works. Or those towns around the Great Lakes have creepy unsolved cases.

In Rust we trust.
