sorry to be in the Man Cave but quick question for the guys; If you never buy condoms and expect the girl you're seeing to always buy them for you is that a bad thing?

I personally dont see that as a bad thing but my friends do?! What do you guys think? Is it bad to ask the girl to buy them for you?

Kinda curious to see what girls think too.
Dump him if he can't afford...condoms! Lol

It would turn me off a guy that didn't make the effort to buy condoms and leave it up to the woman....isn't that like expecting "mummy" to take care of things ?

Lazy and immature

It really should be the man's responsibility, in the same way that the pill is the woman's responsibility.

Besides, as a man, I would insist on being in control of that aspect, as there are some unscrupulous women out there (read: deliberately punctured condoms).

He knows i would never, we are on the same team here :p

He should still make it his responsibility. I could understand if he ran out and you had some.

IMHO, it's a sign of concern for the well-being of both parties involved. He's wearing the condom, not you.

Why would a woman be "expected" to get the condoms? It's always made sense for the lady to handle the birth control and the man to handle the condoms. Espeically since it takes two people to have sex, not just one.

There are some manipulative, messed up people out there. I've had friends who have hooked up with the WRONG women and wound up getting them pregnant. Personally as a guy, I think the best thing I can do is make sure that I handle my own contraception.

Granted if I'm in a trusting relationship, then a 50/50 split on all contraception makes sense. Regardless, I'm completely fine with buying my own condoms.

I've always thought it was the guys responsibility to have this and pay for it too. But then I never offered to pay for the pill if the girl was on it either.

I've had guys ask if I have any if they are coming over to my place but if I'm going to his place then I expect him to have some. If he doesn't then we both go to the store and he buys them if he wants to do it. If you're worried about it, keep some at your place and if you are at his place make him get some for there. Id be concerned with the fact that he doesn't keep any on hand for when you are over.... like is he using condoms with other ppl or do other women let him get away with not having any.
We talked about it and hes not sleeping with anyone else thats why i dont mind buying them for us but then idk i could be naive here. My friends are putting stuff in my head
