This word goes both ways except men are referred to as opportunist rather than gold diggers. For every gold digger out there, there's a man who latches himself to a financially stable and successful woman to leech off.

IMO women shouldn't marry men for money, and visa versa. If it's not for love and for the person's personality, then you shouldn't even think about marriage.
You're a true romantic because your definition of love is what we humans perceive as ideal romance. However, how humans, especially our society in this day and age, practice/observe love is a lot different than how we perceive it. We use each other for our mutual gain. Those of us who like to observe our romantic relationship by the ideal definite are usually left heartbroken because society today is a cesspool of opportunists.

Sometimes, people all their time and money into metaphorical claw machines and never get anything in return, while the greatest things in life pass them by.

and a poorer person who opens their home and hospitalty and is giving and generous to another human being without wanting anything back has a more noble persona...

I understand today's society, but I still think it's fucked up. I think it's a good thing if both people in a marriage have a job, but when it comes to marriage it should be about love.

I agree. I think people should marry when they truly like/admire the person they're in a relationship with for the person they are (quality of person) and not for what they gain from them. I believe it can only happen if they are on each other's level financially so we can take out pecuniary benefits that one can attain from the other, which takes away from genuinely loving someone.

Yeah exposing these type of women doesn't seem like the best idea, but let's not give real gold diggers, a golden heart. There have been plenty who have thrown away good men and treated them horribly all because he doesn't have the money she desires.Some men just don't make that amount of money but it doesn't mean he can't offer other great genuine capabilities to the relationship like; love, sincerity, affection, stability, good friendship, humbleness and so much more.

I know a woman who has stayed with her husband through thick and thin. He's never had much. He's never been goal oriented or career driven. His only goal in his 20's was smoking weed. Lol No joke, but she's always love him.Knew a Doctor's daughter who dated a guy that had nothing, she had everything. They made a great couple. The only thing that separated them in the end was she was more goal oriented than he was, but it was never about money.

my husband's cousin is a scorpio sun, but i think he is a cancer moon. lol dont know his rising.
