because, why does it bother you (you generally speaking) so much that they marry or get with wealthy men/women?
For the same reason less attractive women get jealous of pretty women, they don't feel as desirable and also fear their men could leave them for prettier women.

you know... a commitment the other girl or woman should NEVER go for that man.

In my experience there is no need to test women, because women like to talk and tell you a lot from their lives and if a man pays attention, which I do, then he can easily figure her out based on her actions and what she said. For the record I'm single and live alone. This was to OP so, not sure about happy or not just gave my two cents on the subject of the gold digging subject from how I view things.

I'm about tired of wearing the pants in relationships if it ain't 50/50 then I don't want it and if a man think I'll be taking care of them and paying all the bills while they play house dad... think again.I'm a Taurus and old fashioned...a lady should be courted and taken care of, however I do feel there is a limit and some females take it overboard. Just because a woman wants luxurious things, does not mean it's the mans job to provide it.. It's fine for her to have her own tastes in things, but she should be able to support those tastes herself not rely on her man to provide it all.. That's just my two cents.

i would give him more just because i can afford it, and i'm not stingy.

Yeah exposing these type of women doesn't seem like the best idea, but let's not give real gold diggers, a golden heart. There have been plenty who have thrown away good men and treated them horribly all because he doesn't have the money she desires.Some men just don't make that amount of money but it doesn't mean he can't offer other great genuine capabilities to the relationship like; love, sincerity, affection, stability, good friendship, humbleness and so much more.
What makes me internally laugh? How these same women who only want money, turn around and cry that men treat them like a product that can be bought and trashed.

Also I think that cheap men who are invalid providers say gold digger because they want the cookie for free. So it's created these women acting all "I don't need a man to pay" so men have effectively emasculated themselves due to their cheapness.If you want a woman to help with your biological output, you have to at least attempt to show you have the means to buy diapers.
Also guys saying gold digger usually aren't rich. They're most likely middle class IT nerds or work in a bank and pay for lap dances on a Friday night.
